Max learned from Renee that Asa was planning to remarry Alex. He rushed to the ceremony but was shocked when he discovered Gabrielle Medina was Asa's new bride. Gabrielle revealed that Asa had legally adopted their son Al who had disowned Max as his father. But Asa's marriage to Gabrielle was just part of an elaborate revenge plot against Max.

Seth Anderson, Cristian's friend from Union Square, arrived in Llanview. Renee hired Seth at Palace Bar while RJ also gave him a part-time job at Break Bar.

JUNE 2001

Gabrielle reacquainted herself with Viki in an attempt to bury the hatchet, but Viki believed that she had a hidden agenda. At Asa and Gabrielle's wedding reception, Gabrielle manipulated a huge fight between Ben and Max. She then suggested that Ben join her revenge plot against Max, but he refused. After a confrontation with Al, Max decided to move out of the mansion. Asa reminded Gabrielle that Max moving out could hinder their revenge plot, and he demanded that she somehow convince Max to stay. Asa and Gabrielle then staged a fight as part of their plan to keep Max at the mansion. Max and Gabrielle continued to fantasize about one another and reflected upon the passionate times they had shared in the past.

Nora vowed to prove that Sam was taking the rap for someone else. However, the results of the forensics report lead Bo to arrest Sam for Colin's murder. Jen confided the truth about Colin's murder to Rae. When Lindsay found out, she broke into Rae's house to steal Jen's confession tape. Lindsay and Sam asked Jen to stay away from Cristian for fear that Jen would reveal the truth about Colin's murder to him. Jessica and Will's relationship suffered when she found Colin's passport. She suspected that Will was lying to her, and he refused to open up to her. Sam's trial began, and Lindsay spirited Jen out of town so that she wouldn't be called to testify. Nora concluded that Will was the murderer after overhearing a conversation between Ben and Sam. On the stand, Nora cross-examined Will about Colin's passport, but Jen arrived and announced that Colin gave her his passport the night he was murdered. Jen took the stand and testified that she saw her parents carrying Colin's body out of the MacIver house the night of the murder. Lindsay and Sam finally realized that Jen didn't kill Colin after thinking all along that they had been helping to cover her guilt. Nora surmised that Lindsay murdered Colin, and Lindsay was subpoenaed to testify. Meanwhile, Nora continued to be haunted by flashes of Colin's laughter.

John was reunited with Rae, who told him that Skye had met her father, Alan Quartermaine, and had decided to stay in Port Charles. Rae felt guilty for not telling John what she had learned about Colin's death. When John found out, he was furious with Rae for withholding the information that Jen confided to her.

Cristian and Jen continued to grow closer as Cristian helped Jen through her father's trial. Jessica moved out of Will's loft and back to Llanfair after Will refused to open up to her. Seth's odd behavior around Jessica prompted her to confront him, but he evaded her questioning.

JULY 2001

Outside the courtroom, Bo told Lanie that Jen was exonerated but Lindsay was now under scrutiny. On the stand, Lindsay recounted the events of the night of Colin's murder. She testified that she arrived at Colin's house and saw Sam standing over Colin's body with Jen's bracelet in his hand. She deduced that Jen had killed Colin. But Cristian stood up and accused Lindsay of killing Colin. Lindsay broke down on the stand and the judge ordered her to be removed until she collected herself. Jessica took off after Will rejected her when she attempted to comfort him. When Lindsay's testimony resumed, she said that her and Sam agreed to hide Colin's body. Lindsay assumed that they were covering for Jen but as she took a continued recalling that night's events she came to the conclusion that Sam really did kill Colin.

At Break Bar, Al told Seth that he would be attending Llanview University along with Jessica. Seth told Al that he intended to sit in on some classes there. Al ran into his old friend Kortney Kayle, a singer who was inquiring about performing at Break Bar. Jessica arrived to lean on Al for support. Jessica expressed how difficult it would be to go back to the loft and Al offered to pick up her things for her. RJ headed off to the courthouse after overhearing Jessica tell Al that Lindsay was on the stand. Jessica noticed Seth's continuous odd behavior towards her and she confronted him about it.

Lindsay testified that Sam confessed to her that he killed Colin and then tricked her into believing that Jen killed him. Sam then began to suspect that Lindsay killed Colin. In the courthouse ladies' room, Lanie got physical with Lindsay when they locked horns over Colin's death. Jen, Will, and Sam turned against Lindsay after Sam realized that Lindsay wouldn't back down from her story. Later, Lindsay was on the stand and Nora was ready to do battle.

In Break Bar, Seth finally told Jessica what was causing his odd behavior towards her. He revealed that when he was a kid in Union Square he was sent to reform school after trying to set fire to Llanfair. Jessica remembered the incident and assured Seth she had no hard feelings. Al extended his offer to pick up Jess' belongings from Will's loft and she took him up on it. Al then probed Jessica about Jen but Jessica revealed that Cristian and Jen were closer than ever.

Gabrielle and Asa moved forward with their plan. Gabrielle pretended to turn sympathetic when Max raged about his troubles with Blair and Todd. Asa barged in, seemingly drunk, and warned Max to stay away from Gabrielle. Asa and Gabrielle then pretended to argue as Max listened from behind the door. Then, Asa pretended to get violent and Max rushed in to "rescue" Gabrielle.

 
In the courtroom, under cross-examination from Nora, Lindsay said she would never lie under any circumstances. Nora proceeded to tear Lindsay's credibility to shreds, getting Lindsay to admit all of the times she had lied. Nora accused Lindsay of killing Colin while Will and Jen began to question their mother's innocence. Lindsay, mortified by the turn her testimony had taken, was arrested by Bo as an accessory to murder

A "drunken" Asa took a swing at Max, who attempted to break up the fight between him and Gabrielle. Renee, disgusted, showed up and contributed to the ruckus. Renee berated Gabrielle for allowing Asa to drink so heavily. Asa then pretended to pass out. Max, worried for Gabrielle's safety, invited her to sleep in his room. Later, Renee returned to check on Asa. She caught him, sober as can be, and demanded to know what was going on. Meanwhile in Max's room, a scantily clad Gabrielle asked Max where she should sleep.

In the loft, Jessica and Will attempted to work their problems out. But both of them realized that they couldn't get past the lack of trust in their relationship. Jess and Will agreed that although they love one another deeply, it just isn't enough. They parted ways, heartbroken.

In the McIver living room, Nora told Bo that she was remembering things about the night Colin died. With Bo's help, Nora recalled getting out of bed after hearing Colin's laughter. Then, she remembered hearing footsteps on the stairs. Meanwhile, Lindsay was led into a cell adjoining Sam's. Each accused the other of killing Colin until the two of them concluded that the real killer was not a Rappaport. Gabrielle, provocatively dressed, convinced Max to sleep in his room with her. Max agreed so he could protect her from Asa. Gabrielle pretended to have a nightmare and Max rushed to comfort her. In the living room, Asa lied to Renee that his "drunken" act was done to scare Gabrielle from acting on her love for Max. Renee warned Asa that if he continued in his ways he would end up alone.

Outside the courtroom, Jessica was saddened when she heard Will say that they were over as Jen worried that Cristian had given up on her. In Break Bar, Seth got Cristian to open up over his anxiety that Jen hadn't called. Al arrived and revealed that Will and Jessica had broken up which seemed to pique Seth's interest. Kortney Kayle surprised Al when she told him that she landed a gig at Break Bar. Later, Will was disappointed and spotted Al comforting Jessica. Cristian found Jen at the quarry and pulled her into a kiss.

Cristian and Jen worked to figure out where they go from here. Jen wondered what the implication of Jess and Will's breakup would be. But Cristian laid Jen's fears to rest as he assured her that his relationship with Jessica was over. Jen and Cristian cemented their relationship as they discussed how they would deal with her parents. Jen realized that she knew exactly how she could help her father.

Will, extremely jealous, interrupted Al and Jessica's friendly exchange in Break Bar. Jessica thanked Al for his support but asked him to give them a moment alone. Will held Jessica after she broke down. Will and Jessica spoke honestly about how difficult their breakup is. They both understood that they would have to get used to seeing the other move on with different people. But Will decided to stay away from Jess because it's too hard for him to deal with right now. Later, Seth decided to sign up for a course at Llanview University after hearing that Jessica was taking it.

Max awoke from a dream in which he was kissing Gabrielle. Max and Gabrielle panicked upon realizing that they had overslept. Asa started screaming for Gabrielle but Max managed to prevent him from finding her. Max was disappointed that Gabrielle didn't plan to leave Asa but figured she was only staying with him for the money. Later in the foyer, Max watched Asa buy Gabrielle's forgiveness with expensive gifts.

Lindsay was beside herself as she realized that Will had truly turned against her. Jen and Will gave Lindsay an ultimatum--confess to Colin's murder or they will come forward with their knowledge of Lindsay's role in Nora's kidnapping. Visited by her conscience, Lindsay considered confessing. In the courtroom, Nora was inundated with memories of Colin's death but she couldn't quite see who killed him. She remembered that Colin was talking to a woman before he died. Further, Nora recalled seeing him fall down the stairs, and wondered if that fall caused his death. Nora and Sam thought that the autopsy report would back up their theory. Hank arrived with the report and it confirmed their belief. Meanwhile, Senora Lena handed a watch to Roseanne, who was terrified by the implication. The watch was stopped on the exact time that Colin died. Cristian stumbled upon Roseanne and she asked him to take her somewhere so she could tell him what's wrong. In Break Bar, Cristian believed Roseanne knew something about Colin and pressed her to confess. Roseanne finally revealed to Cristain that she knew who killed Colin. Later, Lindsay burst into the courtroom to reveal that she had something to tell.

Before the trial reconvened, Lindsay confessed to Hank, Nora, Sam, Jen and Will that she killed Colin. Jen broke down in her mother's arms as Lindsay made an emotional appeal for her family to forgive her. Later on the stand, Lindsay testified that she killed Colin. At that same time, Nora remembered yet another piece of information about Colin's death--she saw Roseanne running out of Colin's house the night he was killed. Nora's gratification over Lindsay's confession quickly eroded as she continued to have no memories linking her to Colin's tumble down the stairs.

In Break Bar, Roseanne confided to Cristian that she was present when Colin died. Roseanne also confessed that she was RJ's mole. She told him that she could have told RJ that Cristian was working for Bo but she didn't. Cristian wanted Roseanne to tell Bo the truth about the murder but she was reluctant. When Cristian stepped away to phone Bo, Roseanne dashed off to her motel room to pack her bags

Roseanne was packing her bags and refused to pick up the phone when Cristian called from Break Bar. Antonio arrived at the door to find Roseanne, distraught. She decided that she couldn't lie anymore and told him that she was at Colin's house the night he died. Antonio took Roseanne to the courthouse so she could come forward.

In the courtroom, Nora struggled to recall the night of the murder. Lindsay testified, claiming she was the one who killed Colin. Nora had a quick flash of Roseanne at Colin's house, but the memory slipped away. Under cross-examination, Nora pressed Lindsay for details of how she killed Colin and came to the conclusion that Lindsay was lying. Outside, Cristian told Jen that he thought Roseanne killed Colin. Nora realized that Lindsay did not kill Colin and she announced it to the court. Later, Nora was on the verge of regaining full memory of that night just at Roseanne walked in with Antonio.

Al footed the bill for a large get-together of students at Break Bar. Meanwhile, Jessica couldn't find her wallet. She briefly thought that Seth might have taken it until a girl named Natalie returned it. Later, Jess felt guilty for suspecting Seth

Max was disappointed that Gabrielle accepted Asa's gifts and apology. He questioned Gabrielle's devotion to Asa in light of her recent fear of her husband. Gabrielle told Max that she had to go back to Asa for Al's sake. Max wanted to know how Gabrielle really felt and she was forced to admit that she was stirred when she slept in Max's bed. Gabrielle and Max finally gave in to their passion and kissed

In the Palace, Asa made sure Renee overheard when he offered Seth a job to keep tabs on Gabrielle and Max. Asa fooled Renee into thinking that Gabrielle lied to him about spending the night at the Palace. Meanwhile in Asa's library, Gabrielle and Max gave into their passion and kissed. Al interrupted but Gabrielle pretended to be arguing with Max. He warned Max to stay away from his mother or else. Alone, Gabrielle told Max that she covered up the kiss because she didn't want Al to know about her problems with Asa. Later, Gabrielle and Asa compared notes about fooling Max and Renee. Gabrielle and Asa then revealed their plan to trick Max and get it on videotape.

Meanwhile, Al enthusiastically promoted Kortney Kayle's gig at Break Bar, only to learn from a crushed Kortney that the gig had been cancelled.

At the country club, Cristian helped to set up the stage for Kortney's concert. Cristian encountered Al, Seth, and Jessica before the show. Jessica introduced Natalie and thanked her again for helping with the flat tire. Al questioned Seth about his feelings towards Jessica and made sure that Seth sat next to her. Later, Kortney Kayle sang a song that was dedicated to Jess by a secret admirer.

Cristian was disappointed when Jen couldn't make it to the country club, but he understood she needed to spend time with her family. Jessica advised Cristian not to let Lindsay ruin whatever he had going on with Jen. Later, Cristian and Jen shared a fantasy about dancing together, and Jessica was being watched from afar as she and Al speculated about the identity of her secret admirer.

Lindsay managed to prevent Sam from speaking privately to Nora before the trial was called back into session. Judge Marin ruled that no charges should be filed against Nora and no further criminal proceedings be undertaken. However, Lindsay reminded Nora that she was still a killer. Meanwhile, Jen and Will felt guilty about issuing their mother an ultimatum. Lindsay made her children promise to spend the evening with her. Jen and Will agreed as they promised to keep quiet about Lindsay's role in Nora's kidnapping. Later, Nora visited Colin's grave to express her remorse. Instead, she thought she saw Colin lurking in the bushes.

Asa and Gabrielle discussed the details of their revenge plot. Asa planned to take Al out of town so Gabrielle could have a free hand to seduce Max. Further, they needed to get the deed recorded on videotape in order to execute their plan. Asa worried that Gabrielle might really have feelings for Max, but Gabrielle assured Asa that she would never fall in love with Max again. Max almost caught Gabrielle and Asa conspiring, but they managed to cover it up. Later, Gabrielle told Asa that getting Max and herself on tape in bed would provide the motive for murder.

In Bo's garret, Rae told Lanie that she and Viki wanted to throw a party for Bo and Lanie's engagement. Bo overheard Lanie lie to Rae that a wedding date was set for late September. Alone, Lanie told Bo that she got carried away and mentioned a wedding date when she was talking to Rae. However, Bo reiterated that he wanted to take things slow in the wake of all that had happened. Lanie concealed her disappointment, but Bo noticed that she was hurt. Later, Lanie assured Bo that she was fine with waiting, but it was obvious that she still privately focused on setting a date. Jen arrived to ask Lanie for a birth control prescription. Lanie complied, but also gave Jen a responsible sex talk and provided her with condoms.

Roseanne arrived to tell Cristian that she was leaving Llanview. Roseanne was emotional and wished Cristian all the happiness in the world. Cristian tried to convince Roseanne to stay, but her mind was made up. When Jen arrived, Roseanne apologized for not coming forward earlier about Colin's death. Later at Colin's grave, Senora Lena had a premonition that Colin was not done wreaking havoc. Lena informed Roseanne that her soul had been completely restored, and Roseanne bid her farewell.

At Llanview University, it was the first day of the summer session for Jessica, Al, Natalie, and Seth. Jessica and Al were watched as they discussed Rae's class. Seth and Jessica partnered up for their class project, as did Natalie and Al. After class, Jessica's stalker sabotaged the elevator, leaving Jess trapped inside by herself.

Max stopped at Break Bar for a drink, and RJ guessed that Gabrielle had Max wrapped around her finger. Meanwhile, Gabrielle and Asa revealed their plan. They would frame Max for Asa's murder, while Asa hid out on a tropical island for the rest of his life. The key was getting Max and Gabrielle on tape making love in order to provide a motive. Later, Max accused Gabrielle of playing him.

Lindsay went to Bo and Lanie to grant them forgiveness for falsely accusing her of killing Colin. After Bo left, Lanie apologized to Lindsay for believing that she murdered Colin. They almost reached a rapprochement until Lindsay discovered the prescription for birth control pills that Lanie wrote for Jen. Lindsay tore into Lanie for what she had done as she vowed to break up Cristian and Jen. Lanie followed Lindsay when she ran out the door to prevent Cristian and Jen from having sex. Meanwhile, at the loft, passion ignited between Cristian and Jen. Cristian decided to take Jen to the quarry so they could share a romantic dance. Cristian then told Jen that he was in love with her. Lindsay arrived at the loft and paid Chad to let her in, but not one was there.

Jessica was trapped in the elevator as someone tampered with the electrical panel. When the doors finally opened, Jessica came face to face with Natalie, who had come back to get her syllabus. Unbeknownst to her, Jessica was still being watched as she spoke with Natalie. Later, Jessica's stalker was revealed to be Seth

Blair revealed her plan to Kelly. She intended to marry Max in order to keep Todd from getting his hands on her baby. Kelly disapproved and tried to talk her out it to no avail. Blair returned wearing a wedding dress and padding to indicate a pregnancy further along than hers truly is. Upon hearing Blair's reasoning, Kelly wished her luck in her plan to snare Max. Meanwhile, Max demanded to know what Gabrielle was up to. Max then passionately kissed Gabrielle as he admitted that he wanted her. Later, Blair walked in and found Max and Gabrielle kissing.

Lindsay arrived at Break Bar in search of Cristian. She was desperate to stop Jen from losing her virginity to Cristian. R.J. wondered how Lindsay knew that Jen didn't already have sex while she was away at boarding school. Lindsay told R.J. that she didn't want Jen to wind up pregnant and married young like she was to Sam. Despite R.J.'s lucid reasoning on the behalf of the absent Jen and Cristian, Lindsay was still determined to halt their relationship.

Jessica and Natalie got to know each other over coffee, unaware that Seth was watching them. Natalie said that she lived near Union Square, and Jessica wondered if she knew Cristian. Jessica revealed that Cristian was her first love. Natalie told Jessica that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Later, Natalie learned that Jessica was a Buchanan and was related to Al. After Natalie left, Seth told Jessica that she was coming with him .

Cristian and Jen expressed their feelings for one another. They both admitted that they wanted to make love. An impressed Cristian learned that Jen had already procured birth control. Before they could make love, Al and company arrived for a swim. Al was apparently still taken with Jen and was disappointed when she and Cristian left to be alone. Later, at the loft, Cristian and Jen entered with the intent on making love, but Lindsay was sitting on Cristian's bed.

Lindsay confronted Jen and Cristian in the loft. Jen was mortified, but refused to bend to her mother's will. After Lindsay was forced to leave, Cristian vowed that Lindsay would never come between him and Jen. Cristian and Jen then professed their love for one another. Later, at Break Bar, R.J. advised Cristian on how to handle Lindsay. Meanwhile, Lindsay enlisted Chad's help to destroy Cristian. Unaware that Seth was the one who had been watching her, Jessica agreed to be alone with him in Rae's classroom so they could work on their class assignment. He had obtained a film projector to view Revenge of the Chameleon with her, but Jessica was unnerved being alone in the dark classroom with him. Meanwhile, Seth's agenda remained enigmatic and potentially dangerous.

Blair interrupted Gabrielle and Max's kiss. She thought Asa would want to know that Max and Gabrielle had gotten so close again. Gabrielle scurried upstairs after she and Max tried to offer an explanation to Blair. Alone, Asa told Gabrielle that Blair witnessing Gabrielle and Max's almost-tryst would be to the advantage of the scheme that they had concocted. Asa believed Gabrielle might be jealous that Blair is carrying Max's child, but Gabrielle insisted that it was not the case.

Meanwhile, Max told Blair that Gabrielle was aggressively pursuing him, but he wasn't interested.

Blair offered Max a way to get the message across to Gabrielle, and at the same time, to serve

her own interest of keeping her baby away from Todd. Blair asked Max to marry her

Blair appealed to Max's loathing of Todd in order to get him to accept her marriage proposal. Gabrielle's attempt to meddle in his and Blair's encounter only served to pique Max's curiosity to her own intentions toward him. Starr arrived courtesy of her sitter and, overheard Max agree to marry Blair. Later, Gabrielle arrived at Dorian's to see Todd.

 In the classroom, Seth put the moves on Jessica, though he insisted he was merely being friendly. Will entered as Seth massaged Jessica's shoulders. Jessica then clashed with Will who was jealous over her growing, outwardly innocent, relationship with Seth. Later, Seth eavesdropped on Will and Jessica's fight

7/31

Viki retrieved Starr, who was hurt and angered from Asa's mansion, and questioned her when she claimed to never want to see her mother again. Viki reacted to Starr's sudden aversion to her mother by telling Starr that she once lost Jessica. Blair and Max continued marriage negotiations, and Max denied his desire to make Gabrielle jealous. Meanwhile, Todd had no interest in seeing Gabrielle, until she implied a knowledge of Blair's whereabouts. Viki brought Starr home and covered to Todd when he demanded to know why his daughter was at Asa's. Then, Starr announced to a flabbergasted Todd, Gabrielle, and Viki that Blair and Max were planning to get married.

Lindsay informed Sam of their daughter's imminent sex life with "no good" Cristian. But Sam had faith in Jen and didn't share Lindsay's antipathy for Cristian. Lindsay managed to convince Sam to let her stay with him a little longer before he headed off to see Nora.

Lindsay oversaw Chad's installation of hidden web cams throughout Cristian's apartment. Chad showed Lindsay the product of their machinations -- a website named "hottiebaresall.com." It would feature live video of Cristian in his loft. Meanwhile, Jen turned down a date with Al and made it clear to him that she was in an exclusive relationship with Cristian. Jen then moved forward with plans to spend a special evening with Cristian. Later, in the loft, Cristian stripped, oblivious to the hidden cameras televising his every move.

AUGUST 2001

8/1

Seth tricked Jessica into going to the quarry by posting a flier for a party. He secretly tore down the flier after he persuaded Jessica to attend with him. Once they arrived, Jessica was puzzled that she and Seth were the only party-goers. Will and Jen arrived unexpectedly, and they planted doubts in Jessica's mind about a party ever existing. Jen and Jessica exchanged words, and Will attempted to talk with Jessica. However, Seth intervened and acted as her protector.

Max's gloating over his engagement elicited a slap from Gabrielle. Gabrielle had it out with Max, and Max responded with a passionate kiss. Sparks ignited, but Max pulled away to prevent himself from jeopardizing his future with his unborn child. Gabrielle reported the setback in their plans to Asa, and Asa warned her to squelch Max's relationship with Blair, or he would consider her in breach of contract.

At the quarry, Jessica told Will to stay away from her. Seth implied to Jessica that Will might be dangerous by suggesting that Will had an obsession. Seth then convinced Jessica to go on a date with him. Jen asked Will to lie to Lindsay about her whereabouts so that she could spend a romantic evening with Cristian. At Break Bar, Lindsay was pleased to learn that "hottiebaresall.com" was a breakout hit. Lindsay shocked Cristian when she pretended to make a truce with him but he remained skeptical as Lindsay laid it on thick to bury the hatchet. Later, in the loft, the hidden webcams recorded Cristian and Jen as they were about to make love. Meanwhile, Lindsay was completely unaware of the looming deflowering on "hottiebaresall.com."

At the Break Bar, Cristian remained the object of female adoration as they continued to swarm around the computer to catch a glimpse of him on hottiebaresall.com. Chad prevented Cristian from almost discovering the website by initiating a conversation about Jen. Cristian told Chad that he had a big date planned with Jen this evening. However, Jen was forced to cancel the date in order to deal with Colin's will. At the start of his non-date with Jessica, Seth felt strange being back in Llanfair. Jessica introduced Seth to Viki, but left out his history as Llanfair's arsonist. Later, Seth surprised Jessica with a kiss.

 Max told Al that he was marrying Blair. Al doubted that Max would keep his promises to his new wife and child because he has a bad track record when it comes to keeping his word. Max apologized to Al for not being a good father to him, but assured Al that no matter what, he has always loved him. Their conversation was interrupted when Gabrielle called with the news that Blair was in distress.

In Todd's limo, Starr remained angry at her mother and told Todd that she never wanted to see Blair again. Uneasy that Blair may have been telling the truth about being in pain, Todd ordered his driver to rush back to Dorian's house. Meanwhile, Gabrielle stood over Blair and contemplated her next move. She ultimately called 911 to aid Blair. Max arrived before Todd, thanks to Gabrielle's call for help. However, one of the paramedics noted that Blair was asking for Todd, not Max. Gabrielle played spin-doctor and let Max know that she was responsible for saving Blair. When Todd spied Blair in Max's arms, he decided to leave town. He told Starr that they were leaving and never coming back.

Jessica pulled away from Seth's kiss and told him that it was too soon for her to be romantically involved with anybody. Al interrupted the awkward moment in need of some friendly advice from Jess. Fresh from arguing with Max, Al divulged his issues with his father to Jessica. As Seth eavesdropped on their conversation, she told Al not to give up on Max

 Outside Break Bar, Leah promised to make Cristian a very happy man. Inside, Natalie and Al found it hard to study as Mollie and Shawna shrieked over hottiebaresall.com. Al confided to Natalie that he was hung up on someone who has a boyfriend. Distracted by the commotion at the computer, Al took a gander at the screen and was flabbergasted by what he saw. Meanwhile, an oblivious Cristian worked diligently to arrange a surprise romantic getaway for Jen. Later, an angry Al confronted Cristian as Jen arrived.

Jen interrupted Cristian and Al's confrontation and asked why they were fighting. Natalie intervened and privately convinced Al to reconsider blasting Cristian for his website in front of Jen. Natalie explained to Al that telling Jen about "hottiebaresall.com" could backfire on him. Cameras caught Cristian in his apartment discussing details of his surprise getaway for Jen with Leah, the girl who was helping him plan the trip to Cape May. A suspicious Jen confided to Will that she thought Cristian was hiding something. Later, Al watched Cristian hug Leah on the website, and he approached Jen to tell her the truth.

Natalie sought refuge in the Lord library after being drenched by a passing car. Jessica gave Natalie some of her clothes to change into, and Seth called Jessica to apologize for the kiss. Natalie then showed a stunned Jessica the "hottiebaresall" website. In the Break Bar, Will expressed his disapproval of Jen's relationship with Cristian, much to his sister's dismay. Al then told Will to watch out for his sister. When Seth arrived, he and Will argued over Jessica. Cristian and Leah continued preparations for Jen's surprise under the watchful eye of the webcam, but Al prevented Jen from seeing them on the computer screen. However, Jen overheard Cristian talking with Leah in his apartment, and she confronted him when he lied in order to preserve his surprise. Cristian promised to tell Jen everything, but upon entering his room found Shawna, one of the Web admirers, lying naked on his bed.

Jessica was stunned by the contents of Cristian's website, but Seth prevented her from confronting him. A stunned Cristian blocked Jen from viewing a naked Shawna in his bed. Cristian was then forced to tell an elated Jen that he had arranged a surprise getaway weekend for them. Once Jen left, Cristian questioned Shawna about how she had entered his apartment, and he disappointed Shawna with his commitment to Jen. In Break Bar, Jen bashed Jessica for moving on so quickly after her relationship with Will. Jessica was tempted to tell Jen about "hottiebaresall," but decided against it.

Meanwhile, Natalie told Jessica that she is quitting school because she can no longer afford it. Saddened by Natalie's revelation, Jessica offered to loan Natalie tuition money. However, Natalie would only consider the notion if she could come up with a way to pay her back. Jessica then came up with an idea of where Natalie could get a part-time job in order to pay back the loan.

Jessica wanted Natalie to work as Viki's personal assistant in order to pay back the tuition loan. Viki revealed to Jessica the news about Colin's twin. Jessica introduced Natalie to a preoccupied Viki and asked her to hire Natalie as her personal assistant. Viki was caught off guard at first, but then Jessica revealed how imperative it was that Natalie get a job to pay for school. After an informal interview, Viki gave Natalie the job. On their way out, Natalie met Ben and noted to Jessica how hot he was. Later, in the student union, Sykes told Jessica that the elevator in which she was trapped had been tampered with.

In the diner, Seth and Cristian bonded as they reminisced about old times in Angel Square. An excited Cristian told Seth about his weekend getaway with Jen. Cristian encouraged Seth to go for Leah. However, Seth finally confessed that he had no interest in Leah because he liked Jessica. Cristian gave Seth his blessing, but warned him to treat Jessica well.

Natalie was all nerves on her first day as Viki's assistant. She accidentally knocked over a vase and thought that Viki wanted to fire her, but Ben assured Natalie that Viki was the most forgiving and generous woman he had ever known.

In the student union, Will wanted Jessica's forgiveness. Will asked Jessica to give him another chance, but Jessica tenderly declined. Seth watched as Jessica told Will that she couldn't go back to him. Alone, Seth told Jessica that he was near the elevator panel when the elevator went haywire. He then explained that he saw Will enter as he was walking out -- thus implying that Will was the culprit behind the elevator malfunction

After Jessica's rejection, a disappointed Will arrived home to find Jen and Cristian nervously anticipating the Vega's arrival at the Rappaports for dinner. The Vegas were ready for dinner, but Jen's parents were nowhere to be found. Lindsay returned, having forgotten about the dinner. Lindsay seized the opportunity to ruin Cristian and called Chad to set up the website revelation. Chad enlisted the help of Mollie, one of the "hottie" watchers, to orchestrate Lindsay's plan. Mollie arrived at the house with the dinner delivery, and dropped the bomb about the "hottiebaresall" website. A stunned Cristian denied Mollie's accusation, and Jen jumped to his defense. Will figured the only way to find who was telling the truth was to log on to the site. Everyone was shocked as they got a load of the website on Sam's computer screen.

The shock of "hottiebaresall" was palpable. Lindsay secretly relished her handiwork as both the Rappaports and Vegas were shocked to see Cristian's website. Accusations flew as Will declared that Cristian had sunk to new lows. Cristian denied having any knowledge of the webcams or the website. Carlotta believed her son was as flabbergasted as she was. Lindsay feigned concern and said that there must be some sort of explanation. Jen left the room in tears after seeing Shawna kiss Cristian on the site. Carlotta and Antonio chose to believe in Cristian's innocence, and Antonio promised to uncover the real culprit behind the sordid site. Jen returned and asked for a moment alone with Cristian. Cristian asked Jen if she believed in his innocence as a triumphant Lindsay eavesdropped outside the door.

 Jessica found Seth and Natalie together at the elevator and introduced the two of them. When Jessica stepped away to retrieve a class handout, Seth pulled Natalie into a steamy kiss. When Jessica returned, Natalie and Seth hid their relationship from her. Natalie then expressed discomfort at the idea of Jess going on a date with Seth. Later, Seth revealed to Natalie his satisfaction over her new job in Jessica's house. Natalie's derogative reference about Jessica revealed that they were up to no good as the two hinted at details of a conspiracy against Jessica.

Lindsay boasted to Chad on her cell phone that she was certain the website had torn Jen and Cristian apart. Meanwhile, Jen told Cristian that she believed him. A frustrated Lindsay realized that she was defeated as Jen reaffirmed her love and trust for Cristian. Lindsay's "supportive" reaction to Jen's decision aroused Cristian's suspicions. Alone, Cristian accused a nervous Lindsay of orchestrating the website. Cristian attempted to force a confession out of Lindsay, despite having nothing to back him up.

Gabrielle briefed Asa about Blair's interference with their plan against Max. Gabrielle told him about her discovery of Blair's secret, and she explained how she used it as a bargaining chip in order to get Max alone for an evening. Asa wanted Max in the slammer as soon as possible, and Gabrielle assured him that her latest plan would hasten that result. Gabrielle and Asa staged another fight when Max walked in and interrupted their scheming. Gabrielle announced to Max her intentions to leave Asa and his money. Gabrielle tempted Max, but Max ultimately refused her advances. Max didn't really want her to leave, but later he said goodbye to a horrified Gabrielle.

Al helped Jessica calm her nerves about her date with Seth. Jess and Al then discussed Cristian's website, and Jess was impressed to learn that Al held back from clueing in Jen about "hottiebaresall." Natalie arrived at Seth's apartment, where the two of them live together. Seth and Natalie anticipated the future riches they would obtain from Jessica as they planned treachery for her. Natalie forced Seth to call Jessica and say that he would be late so they could make love. However, the conspirators' plans were in jeopardy when Jessica decided to surprise Seth by picking him up at his apartment.

A furious Cristian had Lindsay's number as he suggested that she had plotted against him because she feared losing Jen. Lindsay adamantly denied orchestrating the website, but a slip of the tongue made Cristian certain that she was behind the scam. Lindsay laid it on thick when she reminded Cristian of her attempts to get along with him for Jen's sake, but Cristian wasn't buying her act. Jen interrupted Lindsay and Cristian and sensed that something was amiss, but they both covered as they pretended to make nice. Alone, Lindsay approached Chad and blackmailed him in order to get his help in sticking it to Cristian.

Realizing their plans could be blown, Seth and Natalie acted quickly to keep Jessica from finding evidence of Natalie's presence. Outside, Jessica conveyed to Seth that she wanted to stay at his apartment for their date. When Seth refused to stay in, Jessica barged through the door. Natalie hid in the bathroom, and Jessica entered to find that Seth possessed a photo of her. Seth lied that he found the photo in Renee's office. Relieved that Jessica hadn't figured out that he lives with Natalie, Seth convinced her that they should go to The Palace for dinner. Alone, a devious Natalie vowed to destroy Jessica.

Gabrielle's plan to elicit an emotional response from Max by pretending that she was going to leave Llanview failed, and she was forced to pull out all the stops to make him reach out to her. A reluctant Max ultimately gave in to Gabrielle's wiles and planted a hot kiss on her. Gabrielle then brought Max to the lodge to make love. Meanwhile, Asa set up a camera in the lodge bedroom for Gabrielle and Max's imminent arrival. However, Max hesitated when Gabrielle attempted to pull him into the rigged bedroom, threatening to put a damper on Gabrielle and Asa's plan. Asa, manning the hidden camera, watched as a triumphant Gabrielle finally lured Max into bed.

In Logan's, Al admitted to Jen that he knew about the website and explained his reasons as to why he kept mum. Jen thanked Al with a kiss on the cheek, and Lindsay became intrigued at the prospect of matching Jen with Al. At Break Bar, Chad instructed Mollie and Shawna on their roles in Lindsay's plan. Meanwhile, Antonio and Cristian worked to find out who was responsible for making Cristian famous on the web. R.J. indicated to Cristian that Chad had access to the entire building. Cristian then guessed that Chad put the website together. Certain that Lindsay hired Chad to do the dirty work, Antonio and Cristian looked for clues to implicate her. Unaware of the developments, Lindsay privately celebrated after Shawna, as per Lindsay's plan, intentionally implied that she slept with Cristian for all to hear -- especially Jen. An upset Jen rushed off, but Lindsay remained certain that she had done Jen a tremendous favor.

Jessica shared her growing feelings for Seth with Natalie. Seth arrived with flowers for Jessica, but his true purpose was to celebrate with Natalie the progress of their dastardly plan. Will arrived and asked for a moment alone with Jessica. Will then revealed to a surprised Jessica that he had decided to leave town. Natalie and Seth shared a furtive triumph at this news. However, Jessica appeared close to discovering Natalie and Seth's plans when she walked in on their celebratory conversation.

Seth planned to take Jessica to the Kortney Kayle concert in order to facilitate the next step of he and Natalie's plan. Natalie prepared to do some stealthy exploring of Llanfair's upper floors while Jessica was out. However, Viki caught Natalie on her way upstairs. Meanwhile, Will told Jen and a devastated Lindsay that he was leaving Llanview. Lindsay attempted to persuade Will to stay, blaming Jessica for his decision. Separately, Sam and Jen each shared a heartfelt goodbye with Will. Lindsay worked to cement doubts about Cristian in Jen's mind, but Jen maintained Cristian's innocence as she rushed off to speak with him.

An angry Cristian confronted Chad about the "hottiebaresall" website. Chad finally owned up to creating the site, but refused to implicate Lindsay. Shawna overheard as Cristian pleaded with Chad to admit that Lindsay was behind the scheme. Alone, Shawna offered to help Cristian connect Lindsay to Chad. Cristian wondered what Shawna expected in return, and it was clear that she wasn't after money. Jen arrived just as Shawna planted a kiss on Cristian.

Todd mistakenly showed Max and Blair a tape of Starr away at summer reptile camp instead of the tape depicting Max and Gabrielle's mountain lodge tryst. Meanwhile, at the lodge, a frantic Gabrielle and Asa scrambled to figure out the whereabouts of the tape. Asa and Gabrielle realized that Todd had stolen the damning evidence, and they rushed off to recover it. Upon realizing that he had played the wrong tape, Todd attempted to show Max and Blair the intended tape, but they refused to view any more. Asa and Gabrielle arrived to discover Todd clutching the tape in his hand. Gabrielle and Asa diverted Max and Blair's attention by fabricating a story that implied Al was involved in an accident. Later, Gabrielle arrived at the Penthouse, and Todd was not surprised to see her

An unseen Jen ran off after seeing Shawna kiss Cristian. Jen bumped into Al, who comforted her. Meanwhile, Shawna confessed details to Cristian that proved Lindsay was behind the setup. Shawna told Cristian that Lindsay paid her to let Jen overhear that she had slept with him. In the corridor by Troy's loft, Cristian confronted Lindsay. Cristian and Shawna challenged Lindsay with the truth, but Lindsay denied everything and pointed out that they lacked any evidence. However, Cristian was convinced that Jen would believe him, and he rushed off to find her. At the quarry, Jen sought solace from Al. A shocked Cristian arrived to find Jen in Al's arms.

Gabrielle arrived at Todd's Penthouse, and he was not surprised to see her. An amused Todd gloated to Gabrielle about his possession of the "naughty" videotape. Gabrielle tried to con Todd out of the videotape, but Todd guessed Gabrielle's true intentions for it. Todd figured out that Asa and Gabrielle were both in cahoots against Max. Gabrielle denied Todd's accusations by claiming that she orchestrated the taping by herself. Further, Gabrielle pleaded to Todd that she would loose everything if Asa "discovered" that she had slept with Max. Todd didn't buy Gabrielle's fabrication and reiterated that he knew she and Asa were out to destroy Max.


Natalie covered when Viki questioned her as to why she was heading upstairs. Upon Natalie lying her way out from under Viki's suspicion, Jessica and Seth returned to invite Natalie to join them at the Kortney Kayle concert. Viki told Natalie that she could finish her work the next day, and she encouraged her to go to the concert. At Break Bar, Jessica guessed that Seth was the one who dedicated the song to her at Kortney's last concert.

Todd refused to hand over the tape to Gabrielle until he knew what it was worth to him. Todd still wanted Gabrielle to admit that she and Asa were both in cahoots against Max, but Gabrielle refused. A seductive Gabrielle offered to sleep with Todd in return for the tape, but he rebuffed her advances. Finally, Todd agreed to return the tape to Gabrielle if she made sure that Blair fell victim to her plan as well as Max.

Cristian arrived at the quarry to discover Jen in Al's arms. An upset Jen told Cristian that she never wanted to see him again. Al tried to prevent Cristian from seeing Jen, but Jen ultimately decided that she needed to talk to Cristian alone. Jen laid into Cristian, revealing that she had witnessed him kissing Shawna. Cristian assured an upset Jen that he had no interest in Shawna. Uneasy about telling an emotional Jen that her mother set him up, Cristian blamed everything on Chad. Further, Cristian told Jen that Shawna was also part of Chad's scheme. Jen stormed off, refusing to believe Cristian's story

Natalie was privately steamed that Jessica had accidentally slammed a door on her hand, while Seth hid his deep concern. In front of Jessica, Natalie acted forgiving, but behind her back, it was clear that she hated Jessica more than ever. At the hospital, Jessica went to seek care for Natalie from her uncle. Before tending to Natalie's injury, Troy walked in on Seth and Natalie kissing. Upon Jessica's return, Seth and Natalie had to quickly cover when Troy assumed that they were an item. A shocked Jessica met Troy, but realized that Troy was not like Colin when he agreed to treat Natalie for free under the auspices of the new clinic, which he had funded. Later, Jessica's curiosity was piqued when she discovered that Natalie filled out the hospital forms using Seth's address.

In the coffee shop, Cristian revealed to Antonio that he and Jen had broken up. He didn't want to tell Jen about what Lindsay was doing to her. However, Antonio made him realize that Jen would be better off if she knew the truth. Antonio ultimately convinced Cristian to put a halt to Lindsay's manipulations. A beautiful, young woman sitting near Antonio captured his attention. Just as he was about to talk to her, she disappeared.

Lindsay was overjoyed to find out that Jen and Cristian had split up. When Jen told her about finding Cristian and Shawna kissing, Lindsay thought that she was right about Cristian all along. Jen went to her bedroom to lie down as Cristian arrived to do battle with Lindsay. Cristian confronted Lindsay about all of her misdeeds. In her smugness, Lindsay admitted to setting Cristian up. Lindsay told him that she orchestrated the website in addition to Shawna's antics, but she gloated that Cristian had no way of proving it. However, it was an awful miscalculation on Lindsay's part, as she turned around to see Jen standing there.

 Seth lied to Jessica that Natalie used his address on the form because Natalie was homeless and sleeping on a bench in Angel Square. Natalie and Seth privately celebrated when a stunned Jessica suggested that she approach Viki about letting Natalie live at Llanfair. Natalie was thrilled at the prospect and how it boded so well for her plan.
