These inmense sauropods ranged from 25-?50 metres of lenght, and about 65% of their lenght
consisted of neck and tail.
They lived mostly in North America, and based on footprints it is known that they moved in herds
keeping the young inside the herd, and the bigger bulls on the edges, for protection.
There has allso been found Allosaurus tracks following,
indicating attacks from herds of that predator, where the biggest Diplodocid bulls probably
would raise up to scare them off, threaten them with their thumb on each forelimb or give them
a powerfull whip with their tail, a hit that would probably snap off a Carnosaur
back without any problem.
