Therizinosaurids has been "classified" as the weirdest of all dinosaurs, with their
spoon shaped herbivore teeth, beak, small head, long powerfull neck, huge arms with
long fingers and extreme claws, massive typical herbivorous body, short feet, back-
ward pointing pubis, and short tail.
These were probably fitting the ground-sloth type. Using their pubis as a "seat", and
long claws to bring branches down to their beaks. Their spoon shaped teeth were made for
chewing vegetables, and since they sat mor the most of their time, they needed to long
tail to balance them. They were probably the only herbivorous theropods.
They were 2-10 metres long, and lived in eastern Asia, during the middle - late Cretaceous.
They have allso been classified as a sister taxon to prosauropods
and there has been debated wether they may have fed on fish or even termites(!).
