Tom grew up in a loving family however he was a problematic child and was expelled before his 15th birthday for beign drunk at a basketball game. He explained that it made the game more fun. He got his first guitar either from a friend who worked at a dump or for his birthday.

Mark's parents divorced when he was 5 and he never lived at one place for very long. He got his first bass from his fellow workers and he has never had one lesson.

Travis played in the Aquabats before coming to Blink 182. As a child he played many instruments, guitar, piano, drums etc. He stuck with drums though.
