Now and Forever
:::Recap:::

Their conversation stemmed on from there, talking about the Backstreet Boys,
music, photography, basically anything that interested them. They didn't
even notice that Zen hadn't come back into the living room. She went into
her office and was on the computer, happy that they were getting along so
well. Skye was hesitant at first to talk to him but it just came naturally.
She felt as if she had known him for years, not 5 hours. As for Alex, he
liked her a lot. She was quiet at first but that made him want to talk to
her and get to know her even more. He loved the mystery surrounding her.
Most girls he met wanted him for one thing and in order to convey that,
threw themselves all over him.

:::Chapter 6:::
The two talked nonstop until 8 that night. They were talking about the
whole controversy surrounding Eminem's music when Alex's cell rang. He
rolled his eyes at her and answered it.

"Hello…hey baby!…Nah, I'm at Zen's…Yeah, I've been here since
11…What?…Dammit! Why do you have to go sneaking around? That was supposed
to be a surprise…Of course I want to see it on you, that's why I got it…"

Skye sighed and got up, pointing to the kitchen. Alex nodded and went on
with his convo. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed two cans of coke
out of the fridge. When she walked back into the living room, she handed
him a can and plopped back onto the couch.

"I'll be home later…you'd better…Kay, love you too. Bye." He said,
grinning.

He hung up the cell and put it back into his pocket.

"Sorry, that was Adina."

"Its okay." Skye said, playing with the tab of the can.

"Yunno, I never asked you. Are ya going out with anyone?"

Skye's head shot up.

"Um, No. Not right now." She answered quietly.

He studied her, surprised at her sudden change in attitude. He knew he
struck a soft spot.

"I can't believe that. I'm sure they're all lining up at your door." He
said, smiling.

"Not really." She said, avoiding his eyes.

"And why do you think that? You're beautiful. Any sane man would die to go
out with you." He prodded.

"It's a long story." She whispered.

"I have a couple hours. Spill."

She looked up at him, thinking if she wanted to tell him or not. She never
actually told anyone. The only people who knew about it were the ones who
went through it and even they didn't know the whole story. Alex noticed her
staring at him and took her hands.

"You can trust me Ari."

She nodded and began her story.

"I guess it all started way back…"
