Payback
Val was lying in the darkness on her bed trying to fall asleep really early, when the door opened slowly. Val didn't hear a sound. Two male figures stepped silently into her room.
One walked over to the right side of her bed while the other headed over to the left side.
All at once the one on the right side grabbed Val's arms and pulled them over her
head. She started screaming like crazy. The one on the left side began to tickle her and she could no longer scream. She started giggling louder and louder, squirming and moving around. After about 45 seconds of this torture, both of the guys stopped and Val settled down. The one on the left side said "That's for tickling me earlier!"
"Dammit Nick!" Val yelled rolling over to turn on the light.
"Hey this wasn't a one man job," Nick replied pointing to the other side of Val's bed. She looked over to see a hot guy that she didn't know looking back at her. Val just stared until he introduced himself.
"Hi, I'm AJ, you can call me Alex." He said grabbing her hand and kissing it. He immediately began looking her over as she sat on her bed. She was wearing some black cotton pajama pants that said 'Rock Star' all over them in blood red. She also had on a red baby tee that said Flirt really big in shiny black letters. Val blushed a little and turned toward nick. She smiled and he gave Alex a dirty look.
"Anyway, I met him through Bri," Nick said breaking the silence.
"So," Alex began making Val turn to look at him again," Are you Nick's sister?"
Val began to laugh," No, no, no. I'm pretty damn close to being his sister, but not quite. I've known Nick my whole life."
"Oh, I am confused, why do you live here?" Alex asked.
Val opened her mouth to speak, but Nick answered for her. "Val comes to visit us in the summer every year. She is from California."
Alex didn't speak, he just nodded. Nick walked closer to the bed, got on it and wrapped his arms around Val.
"Are you two going out?" Alex asked looking a bit disappointed.
Nick nodded, but Val shook her head. Alex laughed a little. "We tried that once," Val answered, "but it didn't work out. We are too close as friends to ever go out."
"We can find a way to work it out Val!" Nick whined.
Val looked at Alex and shook her head. "Come on Val! Let's give it one more try!" Nick urged, as he began kissing her neck.
Val's eyes rolled into her head. Alex was about to leave the room to give them some privacy when he saw Val elbow Nick, causing him to roll off the bed.
"Just because you know my weak spot," Val spat, "does not mean you can use it against me."
Alex laughed a little and made a mental note of her neck kissing weakness. Alex was thinking about what it would be like to kiss Val's neck when Nick brought him back to reality. "Hey J, let's sleep in here, OK?"
"That's fine with me." Alex said grinning a bit.
Nick finally got off the floor and looked at Alex to say," Let's go change and get our stuff." Alex nodded and followed Nick out of the room.
Val laid back down and thought about how hot she thought Alex was. She was a little excited that he was going to sleep in her room. She was also thinking about how much she liked it when Nick sucked on her neck and how much she liked Nick. She thought that it was a little sad that she would never be able to go out with Nick. She loved him too much to ever risk losing their friendship.
She was struck by awe when she was torn away from her thoughts as Alex and nick walked back into her room. Alex was wearing black silky pajama bottoms with a skintight wife beater that showed off his nice arms and chest and stomach. You could see a tattoo circling his belly button, but Val couldn't tell what it was. 'He can't be old enough to get a tattoo' Val thought. Nick was wearing his old lime green and black junior high school basketball jersey and some black shorts that showed off his nice butt. Val could also see his tattoo that she had gone with him to get. It was a shark on his left shoulder. She had gotten a tattoo on that day too. Hers was cursive writing spelling out the words 'Daddy's Girl' surrounded by blue flames on the side of her right calf.
Each of the boys were holding a thick blanket. Alex dropped a yellow blanket on the right side of Val's bed and Nick dropped a dark green blanket on the left side of her bed. She sat and stared at Alex until Nick tapped her shoulder. She turned to look at him.
"Do you wanna play truth or dare?" Nick asked her looking a bit evil.
"I would, but I am the only girl. That's not fair." Val whined.
"I know a girl that would come over. She is from California too. She is staying with this old lady that hates teenagers. Me and her are pretty good friends. She would come over if I asked her." Alex said saving the day.
Val picked up the bright lime green phone from the bed stand next to her bed and handed it to Alex saying, "Call her."
Alex took the phone and walked in the hall holding his right hand over his right ear.
Val looked to Nick. He grinned at her. "You have something planned don't you?" She assumed.
"What makes you think that?" Nick asked sarcastically.
Val never had a chance to answer. Alex walked into the room. "She's on her way. He informed them."
Nick smiled bigger and Alex added, "She's running so she should be here any second, I gave her directions."
Nick sat on the bed and was about to try to kiss Val's neck again, but the doorbell rang. Alex jumped up and Val did too. They walked down the stairs and to the door. Nick followed and opened the door.
When he opened it he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. In the doorway stood a pretty girl. She was wearing a neon purple baby tee under a pair of over alls with the same color purple stitching. She had on purple vans, and a purple bandana both of which matched her shirt.
She looked up at Nick and grinned. "Is this the right house she asked?"
Nick didn't answer he just gawked. Val could tell she wouldn't have to worry about him that much for the rest of the night. Alex pushed Nick out of the way.
"Yeah this is the right house," he said walking over to hug her, "This is Fantasia."
"Call me Fancy or Tasia. Either is cool." She introduced herself, holding out her hand to shake Val's and Nick's.
"Hi Tasia, I am Valerie, you can call me Val. this is Nick." Val said pointing to Nick.
"Well let's head back to my room," Val said as she began walking. Everyone else followed. Alex sat on his blanket on the right side of Val's bed. Nick sat on the left and Tasia closed Val's door and leaned against it. Val sat on her bed with it's bright lime green blankets, forest green sheets and different shades of green pillows. Tasia walked in and looked at the bed, the walls covered in green, her green closet and all of the other green things in her room.
"Green is your favorite color, huh?" Tasia asked Val.
"How did you ever guess?" Val asked sarcastically.
Tasia giggled and said, "My favorite color is purple if you can't tell."
"So we all know why we are here, correct?" Nick asked.
Everybody nodded and Nick continued. "Truth or dare is the game. Here are the rules. No guy on guy action. No girl on girl action. No sex! I repeat no sex! And you can't say truth all night."
"I wanna go first!" Val began," Tasia! Truth or dare."
"Let's start off slow...truth." She replied.
"Truth? Truth... Do you think that Nick is hot?" Val asked her.
"Oh hell yeah!" Tasia yelled barley letting Val get out the question, "He is hella fine! And have you seen his ass in those shorts? I thought I was going to have a heart attach when we were walking up the stairs!"
Nick began to blush completely, Tasia began cheesin' and Val and Alex started cracking up. "OK, OK, OK! My turn now!" Tasia yelled over Val and Alex's laughs, "AJ! You know I am going to pick you, so which one is it going to be? Truth or dare?"
Alex thought hard for a minute and then answered "Truth."
"Dammit!" Tasia spat, "I had the best dare!"
"Well save it for next time." Alex told her, giving her a weak smile.
"Ok AJ! Um, do you like Val?" Tasia asked him.
Alex blushed a little before saying," I guess, I mean I just met her. She seems nice and funny. She is pretty..." Tasia cut him off. "No, no, no! I meant like would you go out with her?"
"I dunno. Like I said I just met her. Besides I have a girlfriend." Alex said making Val an awful lot sadder than she was when she thought that he was single.
"Oh yeah! I forgot about your WHORE!" Tasia said making Nick and Val's eyes go big.
"Why must you insist on calling her that?" Alex asked raising his voice a little. Val thought he sounded sexy like this, but didn't say anything.
"Because, I think that someone that cheats on their boyfriend, tells him she isn't doing it, goes out and does it again and doesn't get caught deserves to be called a whore! ALEXANDER JAMES! Why the hell would I lie to you?" Tasia asked putting her hands on her hips.
"You wouldn't..." Alex said giving Tasia a look that made it seem like the pieces were coming together.
Tasia went on," She has told me about her many guys before Alex. Please listen to me. I don't want you to get hurt."
"I already have been hurt," Alex said looking sadder by the second.
Val got off of the bed and went and sit next to Alex. She put her arm around his shoulder. "Are you going to be OK?" She asked him.
"I don't know... Can I use your phone?" He asked.
"Sure," Val said handing him the phone. He punched in a few numbers and Val sat on the bed. Nick and Tasia were already talking, so Val decided to watch Alex to see what would happen. He asked for a girl named Amanda that Val assumed was his girlfriend. Val heard Alex say "Oh she's out with her boyfriend Chris? OK Thanks. Bye."
Val expected Alex to drop the phone and start screaming but he didn't. He dialed another number.
"Uh, is Amanda there?" Alex asked. Val kept listening. She regretted not asking him to put it on speakerphone. "She's busy?! Well tell her, her boyfriend says FUCK OFF! Tell her I have had enough of her shit! Fuck her, fuck you, and Fuck all of the other guys she has cheated on me with! Tell her it's over Amanda." And that was it. Alex was single. Val felt happy and sad at the same time.
"What happened?" Val asked playing stupid.
"Some guy answered her phone moaning and stuff. I don't want to know what they were doing... I am kind of happy and kind of sad. I don't get it. I thought that we had a good relationship. I never listened to anybody when they said that she was cheating on me. Now I feel like a total dumb ass!" Alex poured out his feelings to her.
"You shouldn't feel like a dumb ass. I give you credit for dumping her. If you would have given her a second chance, then you would be a dumb ass." Val said smiling and noticing that Alex had grinned a little.
"Whatever, there are plenty of other girls out there that wouldn't do that to me, that are better than she was! Let's not sulk over this! Let's get back to the game! ... NICK! TASIA! COME ON!" Alex yelled over the bed.
Nick and Tasia walked over and sat next to Alex.
"My turn," Alex said, looking at nick. "Nick, truth or dare?"
"Dare" Nick replied.
"Um, I dare you to..." Alex began, but Val interrupted. " I got an idea!" she said. She jumped off her bed and ran over to Alex. She whispered something in his ear. Nick could tell Alex liked it when Val was so close and gave Alex a dirty look. Alex nodded and added, "Nick I dare you to get the Strawberry Daiquiri out of under Val's bed in the
green box and pour a little bit on Tasia's stomach! Body shots!"
Nick began to blush once more but did as he was told. He grabbed the box and pulled out a bottle. He expected it to be red but it was kind of pink.
"What's wrong with it?" He asked.
"Well," Val admitted," It's not completely Strawberry Daiquiri. It's half that and half Bacardi. Do you think you can handle that, Rookie?"
"Of course I can!" Nick shouted proudly. "Just because I am only 16 does not mean I can't drink."
"I didn't say anything about your age. In case you forgot I am 16 too." Val told him.
"But you are also an alcoholic!" Nick spat.
"I am not!" Val yelled.
Alex interrupted their fighting and asked, "Am I the oldest here?"
"How old are you?" Val asked him.
