Chapter 18
Later that day around 6 Toy came to visit her Petress and the baby. When she walked in the room she noticed that Pe was alone neither Johnny or the baby were with her. She knocked on the door softly and walked all the way into the room. Petress turned her head and smiled.
"Hey, what are you doing here? I didn't expect to see until tomorrow." she said setting up oon the bed.
"Yeah, well I wanted to come and see how you were doing? Where Johny and the baby?" Toy asked as she set down in the chair next to the bed.
"Johnny went to the house to shower and get some more sleep. He'll be back up here around 9.The baby's in the nursey. I can ask them to bring her in if you want to see her?"
"Yes please?" Petressed nodded and picked paged the nurses station asking for them to bring the baby. They said they would and she hung up the phone. "I'm surprised Johnny left."
"Yeah, I had to basically threaten him before he did." Petress chuckled. "How's your birthday going? Where's AJ? Yall didn't have anything plained?"
"Not so good, except for my godchild being born." she smiled.. "Afeter we wake up Aj said he had to go so something at the stuido and he wouldn't be back until almost 12, which by then my birthday will be over. He did tell me happy birthday, and that he was truely sorry, and he promise it won't happen again." she sighed.
"Oh... I'm sorry. Wish there was something i could do, or give you..."
"You've given enough today. But thanks anyways." Toy smiled . They both turned their heads as the nurse rolled the baby in the room., she had just woke up and was very happy.
"Awwww, she so beautiful, she looks like you, but has Johnny's eyes., and she's so happy., she's not crying like most babies." Toy said as she picked the baby up out of the crib.
"Yeah, she's one of the quit ones. We like her she doesn't cry unless she's hungry or need to be changed." The nurse said. smiling up at them.  Toy and Pe just smiled at the nurse and then looked back at the baby.
"Yeah, she's a little angel." Pe said softly looking at her child, whom she loved more then anything, but only knew for a few hours. The nurse nodded in agreement then left the room, right after she told them to call when they were ready for her to go back. They said ok and the nurse left them. They played and talked about the baby for another ten miutes or so before the nurse came to get her. Toy had wanted to get something for the baby and decided to go down to the gift shop. While she was gone Petress called her house. Johnny picked up on the sixth ring.
"Hello?" he answered graogly.
"Hey, baby. I'm sorry i didn't mean to wake you.." she said, loving the sound of his voice..
Hey baby. You did but, it's ok. I need to get up anyways. What's up? Is everything OK?" he asked worried.
"Yes baby everythings fine.... I need you to do me a favor/"
"Anything love, what is it?"
"Well you see it's Toy,  Today's her birthday right?"
"Right, what's up?"
"Well Aj's busy , I'm in the hospital and her family isn't her and... well, she isn't doing anyrthing for her bithday." They countied to talk for about five, which was when toy walked back into the room. It was about 8:00 now.. Toy had went to the gift shop and brought what seemed like the hold store.
"Uh. Toy. What exactlly do you expect her to do with all that stuff?" Petress laughed. "She's baerly a day old."
"Yeah, I Kinda went over board huh?" Toy laughed also.  They talked for another hour or so before Johnny walked in the door.
"Hey ladies." He smiled as he walked in the room. "My i join you?"
"Of course." Petress said witha big smile on her face.
"K  Hold on a sec." he said as he walked back out of the room. He came back about three minutes later. Putting only his head though the door.
"OK, Toy close your eyes."
"Why?" She asked Confused.
"Just do it? I swear you and your friend...." He smiled over at Pe who shout him an evil look.  "I love you." Petress laughed, and rolled her eyes. Toy closed her eyes. Johnny then walked in the room pushing a cart.
"Ok, you can open them now." he said sitting on the bed next to Pe.  Toy was so surprised when she opened her eyes, she nearly cried.
"OMG.... Thank you sooo much." she said hugging his neck. Johnny had brought her a Big cake. She was happy ecause it was the only thing she had gotten for her birthday and it meanht alot to her. Petress and Johnny song 'Happy Birthday" to her., and they celebrated as best they could until  about nine thirthy.  She was still kinda of tried, and figured AJ might try and call her, and she didn't want to miss his call. So she said good-bye to her friens and headed home.
