As a full service provider , Tuboscope has the best options suitable to your highly specific needs.
Our Four functions Amalog
systems are the most comprehensive and
reliable ever developed. The systems employ
electromagnetic flux leakage methods to locate
and identify manufactured defects on the
I.D. and the O.D. of the tubulars
and gamma ray technology to accurately
survey the body wall for irregularities.
The Sonoscope section
uses EMI to identify both internal
and external transverse and three dimensional
defects such as mill slugs , overlaps , cracks
and pits.
The Amalog section utilizes
EMI to detect longitudinal imperfections ,
such as seams.
The Isolog section's
multi-beam gamma-ray technology detects body
wall irregularities, localized grinds, eccentricity
and strech mill indentations, internally or
externally.
The Grade Verifier section
employs eddy current techniques to verify
the grade of the tubular.
The Amalog transducer system's design improves display resolution, giving our operators a more complete picture of the wall of your new tubular. Inside and out. Advanced computer technology helps the system instantly analyze large amounts of data, for more accurate readings. Operators interpretation is enhanced by the unit's easy-to-read CRT defect-signal display. And defect indications are automatically marked on the tubing to assist our inspector in proving them up. All of which add up to consistantly accurate EMI Inspections.
Our field Inspections
unit are mobile , trailer mounted and can
be re-located in any terrain and can
inspect pipes under all weather conditions.
