Tarkan
This album was also released here in Latin America, and has been kind of a revolution, especially the first song, Simarik, known commonly in this part of the world as "The Kiss" (although it really means "Spoilt"). This
album is a collection of the best songs of his two previous albums.
It was released in 1999 by Universal Music France when Simarik became
a hit in Europe. During that year, Tarkan toured not only in Europe,
but also in Ukraine, Morocco, Tunisia, Russia and Australia. In May
1999 he appeared at the World Music Awards in Monaco, where he was
awarded as the "Best selling turkish artist".
