MEETING FOR THE PEOPLE OF EAST TIMOR - 1999/ 09

Organized by the 2CV/Dyane Cub of Portugal.
Associated with the big wave of solidarity that was a reality in Portugal during the process of independence from Indonesia of East Timor (a former territory of Portugal until it has been invaded by the Indonesians in 1975), the "Clube 2CV/ Dyane de Portugal" organized a caravan whose objective was to protest near the embassies of the United Nations and the U.S., finished by a symbolic gift of food and clothes in the East Timor representation in Lisbon.
