A rumbling distortion shapes the night sky, and as the soldiers look on, the Infinity College building is split in half. A fountain area, the shrine for Pharaoh 90 comes floating up, trapping the inner scouts within its boundaries. The others cannot get close to the captured scouts as black substance oozes out of the broken building. Mistress 9 explains that Pharaoh 90 will "undergo Vessel transformation" and become one with Earth, making it their mother planet. Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto each jump up to their respective condominium buildings marking the corners of the Infinity Bank. With their talismans, they form a shield to protect the planet from the invasion.

As the shield is formed, Mistress 9 explains she will no longer need the human form once the Master's transformation is complete, but Hotaru's spirit is still within the body, keeping the alien from leaving, protecting the Silver Imperium Crystal, Rini's soul. In order to gain more power, Mistress 9 grabs the Hoste of the captured soldiers, but the energy of their souls is intercepted by Hotaru's spirit. The girl left without her body breaks free from Mistress 9, giving back the souls of the inner scouts, and giving Rini back her own Hoste, the Silver Imperium Crystal.

Mistress 9 explodes into a giant Daimon as Rini and Darien transform back at his apartment, and run towards the battlefield. Just as the Daimon lunges at the group, Sailor Chibi Moon gives her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" which stuns the creature. Sailor Moon brings out the Holy Grail, and as she lifts it, Chibi Moon thinks about being like Sailor Moon one day, and a second smaller grail appears. With "Crisis Make Up" both transform into Super Sailor Scouts, much to the surprise of everyone, including Rini herself. The Super Moons cross wands and prepare to fight.
