Geographical Position:
This earthly paradise is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Mediterranean, the 3rd largest island after Sicily and Sardinia with some 3572 sq. miles.

Cuisine in Cyprus is every visitors enjoyment. Even the International Cuisine offered by many restaurants has some kind of local flavour. But look for the traditional cuisine. A fish taverna, A Cypriot Meze- a mixture of different soecialities including dips, moussaka, tava, afelia, souvlakia, vine leaves, and much more.

Warm, hot and dry in the summer months,  and mild during the winter is one of the healthiest climates with 340 days a year of sun shine!!!

  • Airports: There are two International Airports at Larnaka and Pafos.
  • For those arriving by boat the ports are Limassol and Larnaka.
  • For the yachtsmen the main marinas are in Larnaka, run by the CTO and a private one in Limassol by St. Raphael Hotel.
  • Visas: No visas are required for entry into Cyprus by UK and Ireland naturals or other European Community countries.
  • Vaccinations: Not required
  • Banks and Money: There's no limit on bringing in cheques, travellers cheques and other negotiable instruments. Visas and other cards widely accepted.
