BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILERS

Was formed in 1963 originally comprising of six members: Robert Nesta Marley, Bunny Wailer, ORiley Livingston, Peter Tosh, junior Braithwaite, Beverly kelso, and cherry Smith. After. The group suffered many changes in the line up leaving a Trio of members.

Marley finally got his UK hit with No Women No Cry in 1975; He also released his first live album taken from the lyceum concerts.

Marley survived an assassination on the 3rd December 1976, but sadly Marley died On 11 May 1981 in Miami Florida But his Music is still well and truly Alive and played by all generations all over the world.

UB 40 Named after the form issued to the unemployed people in the UK to receive benefit, UB 40 are the most long lasting proponents of the crossover reggae in the UK.

The band consisted of  Robin Campbell, Ali Campbell ,Earl Falconer, Mickey Vitre, Brian travers, Jim Brown, Norman Hassan, Astro  The Group had many hits including one in Ten, labour of love ,red red  wine, I got you babe a duetted by  Ali Campbell and Chrissie Hynde of the pretenders.
