Communications Officer with the 1st Battlegroup, 20th Infantry (Sykes
Regulars) as a Platoon Commander of the
Signal Area Support Platoon and later the 3rd Signal Platoon at Corozal
(which later became the 252nd Signal Company). His last assignment before
retiring from the Army in 1981 was Chief of the Army Section of the
Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) in Madrid,
