v      Carried the 2000 Olympic torch in Toowoomba and lit the cauldron

v      Competition track at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre was named in her honour Was part of the Management and Construction Committee to build and complete the Sports Super Centre at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast.  ($30m complex for sport)
