When starting our breeding program we wanted to start of with only good quality mares that were broke and could be used not only for broodmares but reliable using horses. Breeding every other year these mares must also provide mounts for Gymkhana, Trail Rides, Pack Trips, 4-H, Rodeos and Parades etc. These mares have been hand picked for disposition, conformation, manner and bloodlines. We prize all our offspring due to the good mares that we own. We believe that 65% to 75% of what the foal is, is determined by the mare, only complimented by a great mannered stallion.

Crossing mares with different lines we could see which nicked the best with our stallions, and when you handle and train all your own offspring you see the results firsthand. It does make a difference when you actually do your own chores and are involved with your horses on a daily basis.

We handle all our foals and do all our own farrier and health work. Regular deworming and hoof care is standard practice. We use a very reputable horse Vet ‘Dr. Roxy Bell’ to assist in any health and vaccination requirements.
