 Arrowette's mom used
to fight beside Green Arrow (Ollie), and his side kick
Speedy... for a while.
She got carpal tunnel syndrome, that means her wrists
got bad, or shot if you will. She then married Bowstring
Jones. The two had a baby girl. Her mom decided that
she would become the next Arrowette, no matter what.
Some time later, Bowstring died, ate a bad shell-fish
Bonnie told Impulse and Max. Bonnie would send Cissie
out into danger to train her, and on her first real
mission she met up with Impulse and Max Mercury. After
Arrowette's first adventure, Max Mercury phoned Welfare
services, and got Cissie put in a boarding school while
Bonnie is currently under physic evaluation. While talking
to he school councilor, Cissie got the idea to become
Arrowette again to prove to her mother that she is worthy
of the Arrowette title.
