ORIGIN:

Once upon a time there was this Genie... and EVIL Genie, and he had plans of ruling the Earth, and he had the means to as well, he was god.

Now, his bro didn't like this plan, so in a battle they fought and this Genie was incarcerated into s small glass prism, and buried down a hole never to be released. Come 1998, guess what? In an archeological dig, one guy found it, and thought it a toy for a young boy around that time period. Taking it home for his son's 13th birthday, he gave it to him. Bad idea, this kid, Matthew, was a stuck up little snob, and just said coldly "I wanted a Playtendo". Scorned he went to his room to mope about his uncool parents. Looking at "the stupid thing" he saw the Genie and promptly released it. The Genie told him of the battle, and the power he now possessed. As his anger for adults was controlling him at the time he created a second reality, one where there were no kids, only Adults and placed them there. Now our Earth was The World Without Grown-ups. And renamed himself Bedlam.

It was Earth's darkest hour, and only the teen heroes could put things back to normal again. Enter Robin, Impulse, and Superboy. Young JusticeRobin stopping what he can in Gotham until his Motorcycle's radar picked up a run away jet (flown by who? Well a kid, DUH!). Impulse at the time putting animals back into their proper places in Manchester saw the Jet above and ran to see how he could help. Now Superboy was just about "ran over" buy the sucker when he was flying back to Cadmus to see what they were doing to help (well... no Adults, who was running Cadmus?) Superboy single handily stopped the run away jet and saved the kid. Out in the middle of the desert he met up with Robin and Impulse. Going back to the Batcave to see what they could find out from the Bat-Computer he found out that there wasn't even a JUSTICE LEAGUE TOWER on the moon! They were really in deep s**t.

Back on "Adult World" at about the same time with the Justice League in the tower thinking that they were on the original world and that all the Kids had been kidnapped, Batman was the first one to find out that it was they the Adults that were kidnapped not the children.

To make a long story short (I'm sure you don't want to read what I have to say about the next issue and a half so we'll cut to the chase) Impulse seemed to be the only with a chance to beat Bedlam. His mind raced at such super speed that whenever Bedlam would think of something to use against the Boys (he was using Impulse's mind as a... generator... to say) he would promptly just say "Reset" and that image just disappeared. Using this Robin, Superboy, and Impulse took him down and returned the Adults to our Earth. Oh... and they formed YOUNG JUSTICE to boot.
