Barry Allen and
his wife traveled to the 30th century, where their grandson's,
Bart, body grew at a too high speed.
looking like a 12 year old boy while he was only 2.
The only way of stopping that super fast growing was
to put him in a virtual reality machine.
Which in turn, created a fantasy world for him to live
in, stopping him at:
Chrono age :2 years old
Virtual age :19 years old
Physical age : 8 years old
Mental age: 14 years old
The machine got disconnected, and Bart would have died
as an old man, but his grandmother took him with her
to the 20th century, and contacted Wally West, the current
Flash, and saved him. Wally taught him how to control
his powers, slowing his growth, learning to vibrate
through solid objects, running on different surfaces.
Wally thought that he was going to die and trained Bart
to be the new Flash, but he survived, and Bart had to
look for a place to live, going to Max Mercury's house.
Pretending to be his uncle, Max tried to get a normal
life for Bart, Bart thinks that life in Manchester,
Alabama is way too slow for him. Bart attends the Manchester
High School, he tries to fit in, although his mind is
that of a 14 year old boy, living in Virtual Reality
doesn't mimic real life to the fullest. Bart has no
perception of mortality, each time he died in VR he
would just come back to life, so he doesn't think before
he risks his life.
