 When Tim Drake was
just a little kid, his parents took him out to go to
the circus.
Before the circus started for the day, Jack and Janet
(his parents) took him backstage, where he met Dick
Grayson (the first Robin) and The Flying Graysons.
Tim got his picture taken with the famous acrobats,
and go to sit on Dick Grayson's lap. He watched all
the different attractions, but he waited to see the
Flying Graysons the most. When it was time for
them to come on, he watched Dick execute a perfect quadruple
hop to finish off the show... Only it didn't end there.
Tim watched Dick's parents fall to their death. Tim's
parents gave the picture to Dick to remember his parents
by, and Tim put the buried the memory, he had nightmares
about it for months. Years later he was watching TV,
and saw Robin save Batman with a perfect quadruple
hop! Tim was surpassed, he knew it was Dick Grayson
right then and there, and thought is Dick Grayson was
Robin, than Batman must be Bruce Wayne! And he
was right. Instead of blackmailing Bruce with the information
he kept it to himself. Years after that, Dick Grayson
had become Nightwing, and Jason Todd had already died,
the Batman got more and more violent, not having any
real light left in him. Tim got Dick, and Alfred (Bruce's
trusty butler) to help train Tim to become the new Robin
weather Bruce liked it or not. When pitched in battle
with the Scarecrow, and almost lost, Tim came to the
rescue in one of Jason Todd's old costumes. After proving
himself to being worthy of the Robin mantel by saving
Batman, he became first Batman's sidekick, while he
trained him, and then finally Batman's partner,
after proving himself time and time again to being equal
with Batman (although Tim'll never say that he is).
