  It is your working unit - Drone gathers crystals and vespene gas. When you build a structure/building - Drone growth into that structure/building - Drone becomes the building.

  First function of Overlord is transportation, research speed to increase effectiveness of Overlord.
  Each Overlord provides 8 Control Units (Control Units)
  Also Overlord can be used as a detector unit. It can uncover burrowed or cloaked enemy units and explore the map.

Zergling

  Zergling is almost useless as a single unit (too weak), in large groups are useful to destroy enemy structures. Only with big number advantage Zerglings can be successful against enemy ground units. The only advantage of Zerglings is speed.

Hydralisk

  These units are most effective in groups - Hydralisks are good at air defense and in attacking ground units. Due to their ranged attack, you can use Hydralisks in fast hit and run attacks.

Mutalisk

   Mutate to Guardian (Great Spire)

  Mutalisks are the first Zerg air units. They are highly effective against units that don't have air attack. When Mutalisk attacks enemy unit or structure, weaker charge bounces to unit next to it and than to another unit. Therefore, Mutalisk can attack up to 3 units per shot.

Queen

   Ensnare, Spawn Broodling, Energy Upgrade (Queen's Nest)

  Although Queen doesn't have attack power, it has useful abilities. Don't forget to protect Queen with your units.
  Ensnare covers units with green substance, which decreases their speed and fire rate for the time spell lasts.
  When you cast Parasite on the enemy unit, you can see all that unit can see - you can't control it though.
  Broodling spell changes any enemy non-mechanic unit into Zerg's weak unit called Broodling. Units that can be changed into Broodlings:
    Terran units - Marines, Firebats, Ghosts, SCVs, Vultures, Siege Tank, Goliaths
    Zerg units - Drones, Zerglings, Hydralisks, Ultralisks
    Protoss units - Probes, Zealot, Dragoons, Templars
  Infest Command Center allows you to take over the Terran's Command Center when it has half of its hit points. Than you will be able to produce Infested Terrans


Scourge

Upgrades: Carapace Upgrade (Spire)

  These units can easily destroy the whole air fleet of the enemy. Scourge attacks an enemy air unit and blows it up. Couple of Scourges can destroy a medium sized air unit. But beware that the Scourges have very low hit points, so they can be easily destroyed.

Ultralisk

Hit Points: 400
Damage: 20 (upgrade factor +3)
Armor: 1 (upgrade factor +1)
Requires: Ultralisk Cavern
Upgrades: Melee Attack and Carapace Upgrades (Evolution Chamber)

  These expensive and powerful units can easily destroy enemy ground unit and structures. Beware of air units - always protect Ultralisks with Hydralisks or Mutalisks. Ultralisks are especially vulnerable to enemy's Queens, Defilers and Science Vessels

Defiler

Upgrades: Carapace Upgrades (Evolution Chamber)

   Plague, Consume Ability and Energy Upgrade (Defiler Mound

  Defiler doesn't have a direct attack, so you should protect it with your units or use Burrowing.
  Plague causes enemy unit to loose hit points. Hit points can decrease to level of 1 hit point.
  Dark Swarm creates a cloud of tiny insects around the unit. This cloud protects all units within from ranged attacks.
  Consume Ability allows Defiler to restore energy fast. Basically Defiler consumes any of your units and transforms it into energy. Better use inexpensive units like Zerglings.


Guardian

Upgrades: Attack and Carapace Upgrades (Spire)

  You can get Guardian, after you research Guardian for Mutalisk. It takes time and resourses to transform Mutalisk into Guardian. Guardian is a long-range attack unit, great against ground units and structures, especially defense towers. Guardians need protection from air, so mix them with Mutalisks.

Infested Terran

   Carapace Upgrade (Evolution Chamber)

  Infested Terrans blow themselves up, causing damage to buildings and units around. Use them to sneak to the enemy base and blow up several buildings.
