Aztracon Establishment was formed in 1981 by the present owner Mr. Abdullah Al Zamil. The primary objective on formation of the company was to enter the construction field of mechanical and process engineering to augment the existing mechanical and component manufacturing facilities (Al Zamil Heavy Industries) of the Al Zamil family based in North Jeddah.

Initially Aztracon coalesced management whom had gained experience in Saudi Arabia in the mechanical process engineering construction field and drew on this expertise to establish itself as a mechanical engineering contractor.

During this period the construction phase of Medinat Yanbu Al Sinaiyah was active and Aztracon won and successfully completed its first construction projects in this location.

This is an indication of the calibre of the company, even though just formed it had the ability to perform high quality work to exacting international standards. During the first two years of operations, Aztracon was called upon to construct numerous small contracts which required both mechanical and civil works. to meet this demands, Aztracon broadened its structure to incorporate all such elements and undertook prohjects on a turnkey basis providing for civil and mechanical construction. This is particularly valuable in small turn key projects where difficulties of interface between mechanical and civil contractors can cause problems. By eliminating these problems, Aztracon has become one of the few 100% Saudi-owned contractors that offers an integrated construction service which in turn reduces client's overall construction costs.

Safety and quality of the highest standards are strictly adhered to during construction under the supervision of highly trained and qualified site engineers and foremen.
