SPCC is exporting to Republic of Yemen by road since 1987 and has continued untill now. Export from Jazan Sea-Port was initially started in 1987 and continued until 1992 with a peak in 1988 of 800,000 tons of Clinker and Cement. SPCC is in the process of establishing special automatic loading terminal at the Jazan Sea-Port (near the coast of Red Sea) for exporting Clinker as well as bulk/bagged cement to meet the increasing demands in the international markets world-wide.
