Chapter 3: Getting To Know Taylor

As the bright rays of the morning sunlight hit my face, I forced
my eyes open to greet the new day. For awhile I just layed in bed and
thought about the previous day when I met Taylor and his other two
brothers. Although, I thought they were all nice, I liked one of them
    more then the others... Taylor.
As I layed there in a deep train of thought, I was interrupted by
a knock at the door. It was my mom calling me for breakfast. I got up
and did my daily routine of getting dressed, brushing my teeth, and
that sort of thing. Then I went down to meet my family at the breakfast
table. We ate our breakfast then went on with our day .
As I was tring to figure out how to spend my day, my sister came
to me and asked if I wanted to play basketball. I said that I would,
then went outside and grabbed the basketball. When my sister came
outside she looked out down the streetand saw that there were some
new neighbors who moved in the empty house down the street. With that,
I began to explain my encounter with the Hansons. While we were
    shooting hoops.
A little while later we got tired and needed to rest so we walked
over to our porch and sat down on the stairs. I layed back and fell
asleep. Not too much longer had I fallen asleep when Taylor walked over
to me. It figured I was asleep. Well, when he got there, he started to
    talk to Lindsey.
Then about ten minutes later I opened my eyes...not prepared to
have Taylor's face be the first thing I see. I sat up and he said
    "Good Morning Sunshine."
I smiled and then said hi. My sister then left so him and I could
talk. We both went and sat on a swing on the porch. As far our
conversation went, he told me all about himself, his brothers, and
sisters, his old home, and a lot more things too. I think we must have
sat there for about three hours just talking.
After we did that, we decided to play basketball. We played that
for awhile but then he had to go home. He said goodbye and that he
would call me tomorrow. Then I also said goodbye, and then he left.
I went inside and just thought about him and all the stuff we
talked about. I found it so easy to to talk to him. I bet that thats a
good qualty to have in a friendship. Then I stopped. I thought, what
would it be like having Taylor as my friend or even... More that a
friend. Ya Know, I wouldn't mind that a bit!
