So ya want to know about Mousey?

Well, I guess the first thing to explain is where the
nickname came from. I was in the United States Air
Force (basic training to be exact) when the name was
bestowed upon me. My fellow trainees decided that I
was too quiet, and if necessary, could be sneaky. Thus,
Mouse. The military was a difficult time in my life, but
one that I definately do not regret! The Air Force taught
me pride, strength, independence, team work and
determination. Traits that I carry with me to this day!

While in the Air Force, I was an Aerospace Ground
Equipment Mechanic. A big title for a grease monkey! I
enjoyed it, and still do like to tinker around with cars,
construction equipment, and whatever else I can get my
hands on. (Although now I let my husband do most of
                        the dirty work!)

I left the Air Force in 1989 and gave birth to Aaron in
                        1990. I was a single mother for 1 1/2 years, until I met
Chuck. We were married in 1994, and have been
getting on each other's nerves ever since we met! Just
Kidding! We love each other a lot - until death do us
                        part!

In December of 1995, I was diagnoses with ovarian
cancer. Thus, my links to the National Ovarian Cancer
Coalition. It has been difficult and long road to travel,
and unfortunately, there is no cure. However, the
cancer I have is very slow spreading and is being kept
under control through surgery. No Chemo or radiation
as of yet! (Thanks to the good Lord above!) The
doctors have told me that I have a timeframe for living 6
months to 60 years...I am shooting for the 60 years,
and the cancer is not going to stop me!

We were lucky enough to be able to have a second
little miracle added to our lives in 1997. Dale is a joy,
an inspiration. He is such a happy baby! He is my little
                        miracle!

I have held a wide variety of jobs. I have worked in
retail, bill collections, proof reading, secretarial, and
mechanical. I am currently employed by a company
named Dirtbusters as the adminstrative assistant.
Dirtbusers is involved in excavation, sewer and water
mains/lateral and general site development. I also
currently own a business called Harvest Acres Trading
Post. It is a mail order business that specializes in
collectibles, but also has a wide range of other
products. My next project is to set up websites for both
companies! I'll let ya know when they are ready!

Well, now ya know about me! Care to let me get to
                        know you?
