"Hey guys, wanna take a walk on the beach and go out to Cherry Grove Pier?" Jeff asked, walking up to Peppertree Ocean Club (where they are staying). "That sounds cool Jeff." Taylor said thoughtfully. "Soooo......Ike....you and Beth are officially a couple?" Ami inquired sweetly. Ike grinned sheepisly. "Yeah...." he trailed. "Come on man, details!" Mary persisted. "Well, I just sorta looked into her eyes and asked her if she'd be my girlfriend." He said slowly. "Awww, how cute!" Ami said, grinning. Taylor rolled his eyes. "Leave em alone, before he gets mad." Taylor said, trying to hide his smile. Beth ran down the steps towards the group. "I told all parental units what we're doing. They said to be in by 11:30." she said breathlessly. Zac checked his watch. "That gives us about 2 hours." he replied matter-of-factly. "Well then, let's go!" Melissa yelled, pulling off her shoes and socks. They left their shoes by the pool and walked out onto the beach. "I think we shold go sit by the water, and sing, like we did when we met." Mary said. Jeff looked at her and smiled. "Well, I dunno..." he started. Ike cut him off. "Jeff, you have a great voice. It runs in the family." Jeff rolled his eyes. "Fine." he said with a sigh. They sprawled out on a small strip of sand, each couple snuggled close. "I think we should sing summer nights." Melissa said triumphantly. "Hey, anybody home? It's not summer!" Zac replied teasingly. Melissa then proceeded to throw a shell at him. Everyone laughed. "Summer lovin, havin a bla-ast.." Ike started. Beth smiled at him. "Summer lovin, happened so fa-ast." she finished. Tay spoke up. "I met a girl, crazy for me-ee..." Ami gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Met a boy, cute as can be.." "Summer days, drifting away, but uh-ohh the summer nights..." "Ike.." Beth said quietly, not wanting the others to hear. He turned and faced her. "What's going to happen with us, when we leave? We only have 3 more days, because we're leaving Friday." Ike shook his head. "I really don't know, Beth. I'll try to come see you as much as I can, but I don't want to do that to you." he said slowly, trying to choose the right words as best he could. Beth gave him a sad smile. "No matter what Isaac, you would never hurt me. I know it must be hard not staying in one city for long. I would wait a lifetime to see you again." "But that's not fair to you though!" he replied. "Don't worry, everything will work out, you'll see." beth said. He looked at her sadly, and gave her a long, sweet kiss. "I hope so."
