"Frozen Snicker Bars



I have a recipe for Frozen Snicker Bars that is GREAT!

2 C non-fat ice cream, vanilla / chocolate
3 Oz grapenuts
2 envelopes alba or WW shake mix
1/4 C lowfat peanut butter
1 C Cool Whip Lite

Mix thoroughly and freeze in 8" pan, cut into 8 pieces.

1/4 M, 1/2 B, 1/3 P, 1/2 F ... 65 Opt. calories per serving.

I have made this several times and my family loves it!!

"Frozen Snicker"



Makes 8 servings

12 oz Weight Watchers vanila ice cream, (4 squares)
1 pkg instant low-fat pudding
1/4 cup crunch peanut butter
1/2 cup lite Cool Whip

Mix together & spread in 8x8" pan. Freeze.

Counts as: 1 FA, 1FR,1P, 30 opt.

Frozen Peanut Butter Yoghurt


1 QT Lowfat Frozen Yogurt, I prefer Bryer's
1 container lite cool whip
1/2 c crunchy pnut butter
1 low fat graham cracker crust

Soften yogurt. Blend with pnut butter & cool whip. Pour into crust and freeze.

Serves 8.

1 serving = 1 Milk, 1 Protein, 1 Fat, 1 Bread, 4 Opt. Cal.

It's also excellent with a little chocolate syrup drizzled on top. Count as additional optional calories.

Everyone in at my meeting is raving about this one. Enjoy, I did!

"Snickers"



1/2 medium banana
3/4 oz cereal, any type
1 T peanut butter
1 pkg chocolate Alba

Mix together. Roll out on wax paper and freeze.

1 serving

Equals: 1 bread, 1 fruit, 1 fat, 1 milk, 1 protein

Vanilla Icecream Base


Serves 8

1 tbsp cornflour
1 cup skim milk
1 (375 ml) tin evaporated skim milk
1/2 cup Splenda (artificial sweetener), equal 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla essence

Dissovle cornflour in 1/2 cup of the milk, combine remaining milks, sweetener and vanilla and heat in mic or double boiler till nearly boiling.

Stir in cornflour mixture ans continue to heat until mixture thickens.

Place in metal bowl laying plastic wrap flat on mixtures surface. refrigerate till chilled then place in freezer. When almost solid remove and beat with electric beater till mixture becomes paler. Return to freezer. Soften slightly before serving.

1 serving = 1/2 milk, 16 opt cal - 0 fat & fiber


RUM & RASIN

160 g rasins
30 ml dark rum

Soak these together overnight. Add to mixture after beating with electric mixer.

1 serving = 1/2 milk, 1 fruit, 25 opt cal - 0.5 fat, 1.5g fiber


CHOCOLATE

60 g dark chocolate

While mixture is still hot whisk in choc till melted

1 serving = 1/2 milk, 55 opt cal - 3g fat, 0g fiber


STRAWBERRY SWIRL

2 cups strawberries
1/4 cup low joule strawberry topping

Process strawberries till smooth, fold into mixture after beating, swirl in topping.

1 serving = 1/2 milk, 1/4 fruit, 20 opt cal - 0.5g fat, 1g fiber


PASSIONFRUIT

12 large passionfruit
4 drops yellow food colouring
1 drop red food colouring

Seive passionfruit pulp removing seeds. Fold pulp and colouring into mixture after beating.

1 serving = 1/2 milk, 1/2 fruit, 16 opt cal - 3g fat, 0g fiber
