July 28th

Wow, it's been a while. Just to let you all know, we have returned from the dead. As you know, it's the middle of 1999 and we don't have the tribute CD yet. But, for those of you who have been waiting for months (if not years at this point), we now offer our three tracks on a CD ep and the previously available cassette. The merchandise page will reflect this availability soon. Until then, please just submit a request in the comments box at the bottom of the page. The price for the CD ep is a very reasonable $6. In website news, you can expect something of a page re-design in the coming weeks. The biggest change will be the inclusion of MP3 sound files and Real Audio files. The single pathetic .wav file on the merchandise page just won't cut it anymore since the widespread availabilty of the music on the tribute CD is in doubt for the forseeable future.
Please keep checking back for changes and additions, and thanks to the people from all over the world who've been supportive to us.

November 4th

A long time since the last update, but we're still here! The band has been on a bit ' o a hiatus and we've all been busy with side projects. Craig's been working on web-related geekery, Jeff has been gigging and drinking with a few bands, and Bruce and I have lent our inimitable talents to a record project by the band 8 1/2. Additionally, I've been working very dilligently on my other band's second CD and been on the road alot as well. I'll be coming to your town soon!
We are still planning to release a recording of our soundtrack, but when is uncertain. Since it will be self-produced, we'll need to fund it ourselves, and we're all pretty broke right now.
Ian (of the Goblin site) has been a wee bit stalled with the tribute CD, but hopes to release it around the beginning of 1999. We can't wait. Since we actually got some entries and one winner of the present horror quiz, Craig will be delivering the new one to me soon. Keep watching!

July 16th

Due to popular demand, I've added a page containing link images for other people to put on their pages. More will be added soon. Click here to access the page.

July 4th

IMPORTANT NOTE: ANYONE WHO HAS ENTERED THE SECOND TRIVIA QUIZ IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS MUST SEND THEIR E-MAIL ADDRESS AND NAME IMMEDIATELY! THE FORM SUBMISSION SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING 100% PERFECTLY AND WE NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHEN YOU ENTERED!!! IF WE ARE TALKING TO YOU, CLICK HERE: It Was Me!

June 29th

Three new photos have been added to the Photos page. They feature Craig's historic journey to the Monroeville Mall, which is where Dawn of the Dead was filmed. More to come.

June 21st

The new "photos" page is now up and running. Not an incredible collection of pics just yet, but it will be expanding. I regret (?) to say that there are no pictures of Me posted so far, but I think that may soon change as well. If any of our legion of devoted fans possesses performance or candid pics of us, please send 'em my way. You'll get photo credit on this page.
Craig is in Monroeville PA at this moment, and I hope the promised pictures from that momentous event called Monster Bash will soon grace the new pics page too.

June 1st

You may be asking, how many people have entered the quiz and been close to getting anything right? The answer: Nada. None. Zip. So, the current quiz will stay up for another month- till July 1st, or whenever. Also, This site has now been added to the legions of dark music links on Dark Side of the Web, and I'm sure that the hits on this page will multiply 10 fold. (Yeah, sure). In Craig news, he's going to prove his utter geekdom by attending the Monster Bash 1998 Convention in Pittsburg PA from June 19th to the 21st. Any other horror/Goblin fans who plan to attend should make a point to find Craig. He'll be spreading his wisdom and unofficially distributing Four Flies Merchandise to all who come within 10 yards, and you'll most likely find him sucking up to Kyra Schon (from Night of the Living Dead) at her booth. To know who to look for, go to the "The Band" page and see the photo of Craig wielding a dull butter knife and mentally replace the knife with an autographed photo of Tom Savini. That's him. Photos from the Con will be posted on the upcoming "photos" page, along with shots from the "E Suono Rock" recording sessions.

May 5th

As you may have noticed, I have put up the new horror quiz, which has a nifty "form" style entry system- almost like a real website. It has been decided that these quizzes will not necessarily conform to any set timetable, since they are damn hard and responses have not exactly been streaming in. In fact, we will probably accept answers to old quizzes as long as there are freaks out there who enter. It should be pointed out that this looser update schedule is absolutely not because Craig is running out of ridiculous horror facts. When I suggested this possibility to Craig, he screeched "NEVER!!!!" I was afraid. We would like to publicly recognize Steve Mason for being the first person to actually score enough correct answers to win a prize. Congrats. In actual music news, we are in the midst of writing and recording the horrific, terrifying score of the horror film we are collaborating on with Craig Fountain, and the resulting recording will be offered for sale here as soon as it is ready to go. Of course, the director will have to approve it first...

March 14th

We are going to be scoring an independent horror film directed by Craig Fountain. This will provide an opportunity to record some original material and present it as part of a soundtrack- an idea we've wanted to follow through on for some time. This is a tailor-made situation for us and we'll be working with the director closely to insure a great result. Of course, the soundtrack recordings will be available right here! All we can say about the film is that it involves the murder of some Starbucks Coffee employees. Also, look for a new addition to this website! We're going to have a monthly horror trivia contest that will award fabulous Four Flies prizes to you lucky horror dorks!

February 1st

We have completed and submitted the tracks for the Goblin tribute CD for release midyear. Currently working on original material and a few new Goblin tunes, and gigs are in the works for the upcoming months. As of now, the only real date is February 14 (The Valentines Day Zombie Massacre) at the multi-band Positive Force show in Livermore CA.
