Introduction:
The teachers in the Coleman Junior High School Language Arts department are dedicated to offering our students the best opportunities for developing their communication skills. The language curriculum places emphasis on vocabulary, organization, grammar, and spelling in the content of meaningful activities. The teachers also utilize classic literature, contemporary novels, technological sources, and interdisciplinary themes throughout the year to help learners become more adept language users. Students at Coleman Junior High School are offered the opportunity to enroll in advanced language classes. Any 7th or 8th grade student who demonstrates a desire for a more challenging curriculum may elect to take an advanced class. These classes opportunities for more hands-on, cooperative instruction at an accelerated pace.
