Vulgar Display Of Power

Well my modifications have been complete for about a week now and let me tell you the car is absolutely incredible.I thought the standard car was quick but that's nothing on what £1000 can do, my modifications include the Trust ( Airinx ) Airfilter complemented with a Trust cat back exhaust box ( Very very tasty ) , a HKS Super Sequential Blow - Off Valve, a Greddy Speed delimiter and a Greddy Digital Adjustable Boost Controller . These modifications are said to produce about 270 bhp at about 1.1 bar, which I can very much believe, infact it feels a lot more, more like 300bhp - but I very much doubt it.

I find it very difficult to compare it to the standard car as it has been so transformed so much, it is a lot smoother to drive and accelerates so quickly, the boost raises so fast (and smoothly at the same time) and feels so powerful but don't forget to make allowances for your clutch when you modify the car and raise the boost, you really need to look into uprating the clutch as mine really slips now when I run 1.0 bar, it does sound awesome though,like the car is breaking traction at high revs and wheels spinning(4wd),but it does sounds awesome. The clutch I have ordered ( which incidentally arrived today, and I only ordered it yesterday ) is an uprated item and is an A P Racing clutch ( £ 165 )with a standard GTiR clutch cover plate ( £ 87.70 ) and accompanying bearing ( £ 25.70 ), this is meant to feel just like the standard item but without the slip ! , and and can take power in excess of 300bhp. This clutch will hopefully be fitted this week so I'll do an update when it's on, but the worst thing is the fitting charge, £ 450 for 12 hours labour.

The exhaust is ideal as I didn't really want to get an exhaust because of the accompanied sound(loud), but I was told it ( the car ) would be restricted with the standard exhaust, never a truer(?) word spoken as soon as the exhaust went on the power release was unbelievable, and it doesn't really sound loud, just powerful ( ! ).
