~ Shadow Rose found these eggs on a nearby island. They're called Silver Filament dragons and are quite rare. Only 6 in all so far. I was lucky enough to get one of them. I'm not quite sure what to call this one just yet. I haven't figured out exactly what the sex will be. Shadow Rose will know by the time it's delivered though. I think... Telemaur if male and.. Dyliess if female.

This is Dyliess' egg.

~ The egg was delivered this morning. Ah, I have such a weakness for dark colors. I think my living room is going to be too crowded.. Well, Shadow Rose tells me that the dragon will be a girl, so Dyliess it is. Oh, Sander wants to go play now.

~ Dyliess is quite an odd hatchling indeed. She has spoken barely a word. Instead, she just sits and watches others. She's said a few things to me. Actually said them. Isn't that just amazing? I'm so used to hearing dragons in my thoughts, it's a bit overwhelming to hear one truly speak. I wonder if Dyliess will start to speak when she gets older, or if she'll just sit and watch people, as she does now.

~ And so now I hath become a teen dragon. Is that not wonderful? Thus far I hath found four of my five siblings. Amethyst, Sylverwynd, Twilight Star, and Alloy. There are six of us in all, alas there has been no sign of the last one. I hope to meet him or her one day.
