Noelle's Lair~ So Mandarb decided to go out looking for a cave of his own, since he didn't want to intrude upon his bondmate, Jemmy, however much it pained him to leave her side. He couldn't very well go live with Kylisa and Masquerade, since they would want a cave of their own. So he went up to the very top of the of the peak and started working his way down. Mostly air dragons resided in these heights, they rest tended to stay further to the ground, so he figured that he would have plenty of peace and quiet. Finally, after looking through about 20 caves, he found one that suited him, one that the sunlight barely shined into because of a small overhang over the entrance and also one that could only be gotten to by flying, for there were no paths up to it. He began to settle down when he noticed something tucked in the back of the cave. He hadn't seen it at first because it was so dark from the overhang, but there it was now. A dragon egg. But for that egg, the cave was abandoned. 'It was probably abandoned just like I was,' he thought to himself, deciding that he would take the egg to Jemmy in her new suite inside of Shadow Rose's palace. Voice change to Jemmy ~ Mandarb arrived with a beautiful dragon egg today. He said that he had found it in the new cave he found. Together we made a soft bed for it out of pillows and blankets, which should keep it warm. I've found a library in Shadow Rose's castle and have begun to bring down a few books everyday to read to the egg. I wonder what kind of dragon it'll be.
This is what Noelle's egg looked like. ~ Mandarb stopped by this evening to see how Noelle was doing and look! She hatched! I've never seen a dragon that looks like her before. She has no legs! Just wings. And she does use them, to get /everywhere/. Her tail gets a lot of use as well, gripping around things and holding onto them. She's quite adept with using it and she's only a day old!
This is Noelle as a hatchling. ~ Noelle is a very interesting little dragon. Not having legs is only the beginning of it. She reminds me of a water dragon, only much quieter and more thoughtful. She's also very protective of Maesilea, which is a good thing. Maesilea is a definite fire dragon trapped in a Dragonpillar body. ~ Noelle's quite upset about Maesilea getting hurt. I'm trying to keep her cheered up, but I think she blames herself for not being able to get the little red Dragonpillar out of the way before she was trampled by a nightmare. Reminds me a bit of how Mandarb was I first got him.
This is Noelle as a teen.
~Even though I'm only a teenager, I've already found a cave of my own. It's in Stone Mountain, which is where Katy's dragon live. Fritillary, one of her dragons, helped me find it. It's absolutely beautiful. There's a waterfall cascading over the entrance and the inside walls are covered in diamond dust. It's even big enough for me to fly in right now and I think it'll still be big enough when I'm an adult. It will definately hold two adult dragons, maybe even up to four. Which is good, because I feel drawn to this place. I think that's something about my kind, at least I hope it is, else I'm just a misfit among those whom I will never know. This place is so peaceful, like there is something magical floating about it. I hope to never have to leave here.

Name: Noelle
~ Surprisingly, the pond in the middle of the circle of mountains wasn't affected by the heavy rain while the rest of DRAC seemed to flood. Perhaps that is a reason why I was drawn here. We'll see. Fritillary and I rescued Strabo and Roah'lynd from being exposed to predators. Poor Strabo, that's the second time he's been left out somewhere while in an egg or coccoon. Fritillary seems a bit odd. Of course, he has always seemed to, I suppose. I wonder what it is that's bothering him so. ~ Quite a lot has happened recently. Fritillary and I bonded! I never thought that he always hung around me because he liked me and I think he was rather surprise when I asked him to bond with me. We currently live alone in the circle of mountains. Mostly because it's so far away from the main part of DRAC. ~ And as an updated news item, Fritillary and I have had our first clutch and they have been called the Tien Lung dragons. Please visit them. Blake, Confucious, and Nagaina. ~ Our poor dear Confucious lost not only his childhood love, but also nearly his life. Mandarb saved him from the foul multi-horned beasts though and then Jemmy, Katy, and Peridot got to them in time so that they would be alright. Sometimes I think that the Circle of Mountains is too far away from DRAC, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. ~ Look at what Fritillary got me for Valentine's Day.
