~ Sander and Buttercup have had their first clutch. This is their daughter, Nyx. She has two brothers, Lucian and Glacier, that I have also adopted. She has the most unusual body type, being a mixture of Night and Day. It will be interesting to see how she turns out.

~ The second of eight hatchlings and first of her three siblings, Nyx popped out of her egg right after Dawning. "I choose you," comes distinctly from her but also in a chorus of hatchling voices as she settles down to sleep.

~ Oh, I could just burn my brothers Lucian and Nox if I had the fire to do so. Lucian froze my wings! How dare he! Now I must wait until they thaw out before I can use them again. And Nox didn't even warm them up, since he breathes only hot air. Oh, they will pay. They will pay.
