Obverse Reverse

This is a silver denier of Charles I of Anjou, 1246-1285. The obverse reads +CAROLUS COMES (Count Charles) surrounding a short cross with Omega and a fleur de lis in the top two quadrants. The reverse show the words ANDEGAVENSIS (Of the Angevins) surrounding a stylized monogram. It is in F (Fine) condition.
