When Veronica got to their house they all decided on going to a movie. They went to the movie theater and their only choices were Men In Black or George Of the Jungle. They had a few problems deciding on a movie. Isaac and Veronica wanted to see Men In Black, but Taylor and Zac wanted to see George of the Jungle. They ended up going to MIB. They spent another hour at the mall after the move and then they went back to the Hanson house. Laughing, Veronica noticed what time the clock said, it was almost 5:00pm, "Uh, I gotta be home soon, I think I should get going." She stood up. And then, like a chain reaction, Tyalor stood up. He walked her to the door. Zac looked at her and said, "I love you man!" and then added, more calmly, "Bye, Veronica." "C-ya!" Isaac called from the near by living room. With a small laugh she yelled back, "Bye, Zac! Later, Ike!" Taylor opened the door to let her out. "Bye, Tay," she said happily and smiled. He smiled back and said, "Bye. It was fun. Maybe we can get together again soon?" "Sure! I'll call ya later!" she waved as she walked out the door and down the street. * * * * * * Taylor walked alongside the river that was just about half a mile behind his house. He looked around, it was night-time. The town's light seemed to distant to him. But the site of it gave him chills, for he enjoyed just looking upon them, pondering, sorting out things in his mind. The nights breeze, cool and soft, whirled through his hair, blowing it all around. Continuing to walk on towards the river, he let his mind stop on Veronica. He wondered what his feeling were for her. He couldn't decide weather he thought of her as just a friend or something more. Just then, he spotted Veronica sitting on a huge rock; her back facing Taylor. He decided to take this to his advantage. I'm gonna sneak up on her, he thought silently to himself. He snuck up on her and gently tapped both of her shoulders using both hands and all four fingers. "Boo!" he screeched. "Oh, hi, Tay," she said in a very calm voice. He put on a fake pout, "You mean I didn't scare you?" "You'll have to be more quiet than that fi you want to scare me." He looked out at the river.. the water gently splashing up against the other side where there was a drop of about 4 feet. "Wanna go for a swim?" she asked. She turned and faced him for the first time, Whoa.. she looks really gorgous! Even though he knew the water was extremely cold, he found himself saying yes. They waded out into the water; farther and farther. Taylor held her hand as they went out. It seemed only a short time, and what had happened was all just a blurr in his mind. He was freezing! But his mind soon forgot that when he relized what had happened. Veronica had gotten caught in the current and was underwater. Bubbles floated to the top above her as she let out air. He swam under, franticly trying to find her. To what seemed like forever to Taylor, but really only a minute or two later he, too, got sucked under. The speeding current, which seemed rather calm from the view he had had sitting on the shore, took him farther down the river. He struggled to breath, taking deep breaths every time he got the chance.
