Invitational Letter

If you have not made it to the Cookout Weekend, you are missing the luv the way the family was meant to be. Gamma Sigma Sigma sisters and Alpha Phi Omega brothers kicking it live and off the cheezzain! last year was are best year yet and we are about to top that! We are expecting some serious step competition between all the chapters. All events are scheduled with the to allow you to get some rest this time. But you still should prepare yourself, so get plenty of rest because you'll definitely want to make as many events as you can.

Each year this event gets bigger and bigger. The attendence last years was about 200 Brothers and Sisters. This event is given to the family by the Atlanta alumni of each organization and headed by the Brothers of the Rising Sun, Atlanta Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, . It is meant to bring the undergraduates and alumni together to share traditions, and to motivate each representative to go back to the chapter with a wealth of networking information. This is our 25/52 National Event.

Last years Cookout was big and everybody had plenty of fun. We have reseverd only 25 rooms. Please be sure to go ahead and make hotel reservations today, because we will be in competition with family reunion for that weekend. Don't wait. If you go ahead and reserve, we can tell if more rooms need to be blocked for our group. The '25/'52 family that will be in town for the Cookout Weekend will be staying at the Ramada Inn.

Items you will need: Sunglasses, Shorts, Swimsuit, Beach Towel or Blanket, Tennis Shoes, Dress Shoes, Organization Parapernalia, Hats and anything else you can think of. If you have any questions write to:
