Here's a little information about us :)

I have been a crafter since I was a child and started making toys to sell on consignment while I was in my teens. I stopped selling toys when I got busy with a 'real job' and raising a family after college but never stopped making them. I've been making stuffed animals for my children, nieces, and nephew for years. When I started looking for a way to maybe make a bit of extra cash, selling stuffed animals and dolls seemed like the ideal solution-- I enjoy making things so much that I'd be making more toys or crocheting more afghans anyway--I hate sitting with idle hands.

My 'real job' is as a technical writer so I have lots of experience at figuring out how to do things then translating it to the written word-- I mainly write user's manuals and training materials for computer systems. While I tend to be analytical, I also like to be creative and crafts have been a great means of expressing my creativity.

I have a son and a daughter (from my first marriage) that are nearly grown and have recently married a wonderful man whom I met through the internet :) I had placed a personal ad for a pen pal and he started to fall in love with me based on my ad alone. We exchanged literally hundreds of e-mail messages as the feeling became mutual so we decided that we just had to get together. Bob dropped everything and moved to Seattle from Lancaster, PA just to be with me--he's so romantic. We got married soon afterwards and have been extremely happy together ever since. Who says there's no such thing as happily ever after any more?
