Welcome to my tribute to my favorite pop, Mountain dew!!

HEY!!!! Well, i had to do something different on my page, and since i absoulutely positivly LOVE Mountain Dew, i decided to make a page about it, i mean, im not going to make a page about everything i love, except this..and maybe Beastie Boys =0)

SO, ENJOY!!!!

Inventor: William H. Jones

Tip, the company William worked for when Mountain Dew was invented, sold all the rights to Mountain Dew to Pepsi in the 1960's.

William was working for a small soft-drink company based out of Marion, VA called the Tip Corporation. A company from Tennessee gave the Tip Corp their recipe for an unsuccessful whiskey mixer named Mountain Dew as part of an investment in the company.William tinkered with the recipe, tried to market it, and failed. He then tried again, and the rest is history. In 1994, Marion was officially named the "Home of Mountain Dew" by the Pepsi Corporation and Virginia Governor George Allen.

Yep, it's the Inventor himself, William H. Jones.

Look! I found some old Mountain Dew bottles!!

Well, thanks for visiting my tribute to Mountain Dew, come back and visit soon!! You can also go visit the Pepsi site here.
