I am searching for the Bakers of Jasper county Missouri. My greatgrandfather was Ira Edward Baker b. Feb. 21, 1904 d. 1973/1974 and is buried in Carthage. He was married to Opal Mae Hicks b. May 7, 1904 d. 1973/1974. Ira's parents were George William Baker and Martha Eva Keller. Opal Mae was an orphan and had a brother named Bud Hicks. Ida Baker and Dominic C. Kearns (aka Doyle) had a son, Ralph James Kearns, in 1909 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was thought to be English and about 18-21 years old at the time. "1888 Biographical Record and Portrait Album of Tippecanoe County (Indiana)" mentions reference to a William and Sarah Baker on pages 334, 459 and 579.
