The US Gen Web Project is a wonderful research tool. All of us owe a word of thanks to these people! Their work gives you census records, Bible records, queries, cemetery listings, vital records, online county histories & bios from them, & a ton of misc. information.
Check for each county of each state you are researching for your family. Many records are in other counties. Also, pay attention to the neighbors your family had & keep an eye on them! "Lost" family are sometimes found this way. They move when close friends or neighbors move.
Don't expect to find a lot of answers on Internet! You can glean info. from queries & online info. but that is about it. Also, do not expect info. to be 100% reliable.
You still need to check records, do library research & verify any info. you have found on Internet. This could save you from researching the wrong family group!

Find Queries Without Reading Every Query!
(1) Go under "Edit" on your Tool Bar.
(2) Click on "Find".
(3) Type in "baker" (your family surname) & then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
(4) When it finds the 1st query; Press "Find Next" & it will take you to
the NEXT Baker entry found on that page! (NOTE: Uncheck the
start from top of page button or it will start with the 1st entry again)
