William France (birth date, marriage date and parents all unknown) died in
Lee Co., VA in 1834. He had been married to an Elizabeth Heiskell who was
born 1778 and died in Lee Co., VA in 1854. I only know of 2 children; 1)
Adam France b 1810, m 13 Oct 1831 to Frances "Fanny" Ely, d 1837 in Lee
Co., VA and 2) Mary "Polly" France b 1800 in Lee Co., VA, d 12 Mar 1862
and was married to William Zion.

Adam & Frances had 3 known children. 1) William Heiskell France b 2 Aug
1831, d 5 Nov 1864 a prisoner of War in Camp Douglas, IL (he was a
confederate veteran)  2) Rebecca France b Jan 1835 married a Richard
Maloney and moved to Cass Co., Mo where they raised a very large family and
3) Lucinda France (my GG grandmother) b 14 Oct 1836 VA, m 2 Aug 1860
John Morgan Parsons, d aft 1910 Dryden, Lee Co., VA.

Lucinda was in the 1910 census but I do not find her in the 1920 so she
died sometime in between and would have made her somewhere between 75-85
years old at death. We do not know where she was buried. Unfortunately,
this is the sum total of what we have on the France Family except
additional information on Rebecca & Richard Maloney. Surely there is a
connection between our families somewhere in here.
