Glad to have you here null! Hope you like it... :-)
Well, my name's David, though some may know me as No_Fear (my handle on Alamak and some as Sir Peter (my handle on Netcentral Chat ) and ICQ) .

I'm 20 and I was born in England but only stayed there for 6 mths and now live in the Caribbean island of Trinidad, which is the larger of the twin island nation, Trinidad & Tobago. Ever heard of it?
. The entire population is about 1.2 million. Small islands, but that hasn't played a part in constructing my mindset. I have a global mentality which isn't limited by the geographical sphere in which I live.
I WAS doing ACCA which is a professional accountancy qualification. I never wanted to be an accountant... I just wanted to use the qualifications as a stepping stone. My goals haven't changed, but the means by which I intend to get there have. So I did the SAT in Jan. 98 but my parents want me to do it over in May 'coz they say I need to get a scholarship to go to school away. Dinero... dinero... I'm hoping to start college this fall, majoring in computer information systems with a minor in marketing or or something.
I'm a Christian and well that basically means that the reason I live is to serve the Almighty God. I live to worship Him. I don't see worship as JUST an activity involving singing some songs etc., but I see worship as a lifestyle. (Romans 12:1, 2). That's what christianity is about. It's not a religion. It's not about going to church on a Sunday. You can do that and not be a christian. It's MORE than that. It's about how you live your life to please God, how you progress along that pathway that He has ordained for you from before the beginning of time. It's about your relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ, and how EVERYTHING in your life is in one way or the other linked to your relationship with Him. :-)
My interests are football (Soccer. Look out for my soccer page coming soon!) which is on par with music as my first love. (I'm single at the moment :-) I LOVE them both a whooole bunch. I guess my love for football is due to the fact that I basically grew up on it and was encouraged to get into it from an early age by my grandfather. Thing is, I still ain't all that in it... :-)
I like a really wide range of music: I love praise & worship. I love stuff like Newsboys, Jars of Clay and DC Talk. My fave. band is Third Day and I also like All Star United, M.W.S. and Out of Eden. I absolutely LOVE christian music, mainly alternative. I also like stuff like the Wallflowers, Cranberries, and Hootie & the Blowfish. Alanis and Oasis are cool too. I love Phil Collins, Sting, Gin Blossoms and Savage Garden. I like some (a VERY LICKLE bit...) R&B like Babyface, a couple Toni songs. I like some mellow Jazz like the Fourplay Elixir CD. I love Kenny G and John Tesh. I love classical music... absolutely love. The first cd I ever bought with my own money was Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" by Gil Shaham and Orpheus. I also love old music like Frank Sinatra and Sam Cooke and many other classics.
I don't look at much tv but when I do I like sitcoms like Spin City and some other stuffs.. Cartoons like Dexter's Lab and Looney Toons and Space Ghost Coast to Coast are just excellent. Not to mention those late night cartoons like George of the Jungle, Super Chicken, Tom Slick, and the like. They ROCK!!! *L* And oh ya... Jepoardy rules!!! Movies are cool. I don't have a fav. type. I just like movies with a good story line, and good acting. I'll not just simply look at a movie unless it's been highly acclaimed and recommended. Otherwise, I'll just have to be looking for something to do. Good thing I had nothing to do and decided
to go see Braveheart in summer '95 with 2 friends, else I'd have missed the best movie ever made! It's my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE and I have it on home video as well as the both soundtracks. My second fav. is Top Gun as my dream would've been to be in the air force. I've seen Titanic 3 times and counting. The music is absolutely awesome!! Yeah, the movie's cool too. *L* But hey.. Braveheart still rules!!!!
