In a precious and special way
Given me laughter and joy
Lasting long after they're away

Some have touched my mind
By the thought provoking things they say
Opening my eyes to the kind
Of treasures life gives us each day

Few have touched my physical being
But never as you did that day
With gentleness and understanding
You taught me the pleasures of play

None have touched my soul
In such an unforgettable way
Changing my life forever
Saving it from dying away
