Thunder heaving to meet the sky's embrace
Tensions mount, the storm picks up it's pace
Lightening, sporadically kisses the sky's face
Leaving only heat and light where it did trace

Sparks in flight, electrifying the soft still air
Breezes running through the earth's wispy hair
It's molten core reaching up to meet what is there
As the sky moves still closer, to it's lady fair

Clouds rolling ecstatically through the sky
The earth looks deeply into the storm's eye
And melts as they unite and reach so high
Oblivious to the time as together they fly

In ecstasy the earth's hunger is quenched
Mountains and valleys the sky has drenched
The sky's very heart the earth has wrenched
And in her fair breast it is now entrenched
