COURSE DESCRIPTION

Your First Assignment

Write a letter about yourself and why you want this to be your path. Be honest with yourself. Don't write what what you think we might want to hear - write what you believe. To do anything else will ultimately betray you. There are no right or wrong answers, simply the way you feel.

YOU WILL LEARN

The History of the Craft

We will provide resources and suggested reading materials. We will make every effort to make the research material available within the School Resources, so you should not need to buy any books if you do not wish to. This is the MOST important, and required task the the student can make before initiation. Read everything you can, regardless of the path. Knowledge is the strongest power you can have.

What is The Darkness?

In a word - it is " All ". To us the darkness is where all things come from and must return. Close your eyes; what do you see? When a child is born, where does it come from? When a plant is a seed in the ground what happens to it? By answering these questions you will discover some of the Dark Mysteries. The Mysteries will be revealed, both in a classroom setting and in Ritual.

How to use The Darkness

Some might say, to use the Darkness is evil. Not true, to use the Darkness, simply means to keep balance in all things. As we said, what is the Darkness? By completing this lesson, you will be shown how to use the Darkness in your life and keep all things in balance.

Deities

Who are our Goddesses ? Who are our Gods ? Learn who they are and why we call on them for help.

What is "The All One Being?"

Is this a Trick question? If you can perceive the answer, you are half way there.

The Elements and the Watchers

Learn how to call them and what each represents. North...South...West...East...Spirit.

Invoking & Evoking

You will learn the difference and will know when it is appropriate, to be able to do each one.

How to Call Spirits

Not just the concept of spirit, as with the Elements. Spirits of those who have passed before us and are now waiting to help guide us and you in this life. They are the ones who have already rejoined the All One Being.

What are our Demons?

You will learn that Demons are not always bad. We all have demons within us. How we chose to use that demon is what makes the difference. We will teach you who they are and what they mean to you. And the correct way to use them to accomplish your goal.

What are our Holidays and why are they relevant?

We will work with you to create rituals that have significance that will be used in a Coven setting.

You will learn the Mysteries and that our Rituals ARE NOT symbolic.

Meditation & relaxation

We will help you learn how & what is the best way for you to achieve meditative states.

By using Vision Quests, Visualization Techniques, Trance States, etc�.

How to chose a Magical name and understand Magical writings

Learn how to write and read magical writings and how to find a name that is right for you.

Dedication

You will be allowed to participate in a Dedication Rite to declare your path dedication to the God/desses.

How to cast your first circle

You will learn through observation and participation how to cast a Circle.

Why we use a triangle in circle.

Rite�s of Passage

Our Students will learn what they are, when and how to perform each of them.

Dark Moon Rite�s

As the student progresses, each Dark Moon Rite and its' associated Mystery will be revealed.

How is an Altar Prepared

As the student progresses from the Outer - to Inner Court, Altar preparation will be taught.

What are the Tools and how to make them

We will provide instruction for all magickal tools.

We will talk about how to make them or where you can get them for the best price.

It�s always better to make them yourself.

Court Books

Each student will receive instruction from the Coven Court books. These are Coven Secrets. Much like that of the Book of Shadows.

Divination

How to work with...Tarot, Scrying, Saxon Wands, Fire Scrying and others.

Herbalism

An overview of Herbalism will be provided. To become adept, the student should undertake independent study.

Magick

We will discuss various Magickal systems and ways to use them.

How to find the Power within yourself.

How to use the power within yourself.

Where to draw the power from outside your self.

When and how to use Magickal Power channeled from outside yourself.

Healing

We will discuss various Healing methods and ways to use them.

Rituals & Spell Kits

How to write a specific ritual and how to make and use spell kits.

Past Lives

We will work on how our past lives have helped influence our current life.

The Underworld

Where is it?

Why do we want to go there?. Or, perhaps, why do we have to go there. Visit the underworld in this life to find what it is we are missing in our current life. And much more.

What you need to know about how Covens function

What is the difference between Coven Magick and Solitary Magick.

We will discuss not just our Coven, but also the basic operations of many types of Covens.

Solitary Witches and the other Traditions

This is the Final Class before Initiation into The Coven Of the Dark Moon. We believe that an informed student will make a better decision. Initiation into a Coven is a Serious Commitment to many people and should only be made with all of the knowledge available.
