28. Joseph⁵ Davenport (John Iv⁴, John Rev.³, John Jr.², John Rev.¹) was born in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut 9 Aug 1725.

He married Hannah Ambler 5 Jul 1753. Hannah was born 17 Jul 1731. Hannah died 15 Mar 1769 at 37 years of age.

Joseph Davenport and Hannah Ambler had the following children:

117 i. Hannah⁶ Davenport was born 19 May 1755.

118 ii. Deborah Davenport was born 30 Jan 1757.

119 iii. Martha Davenport was born 18 Oct 1759. She married Scofield Abt 1780. He was born Abt 1755.

+ 120 iv. Gould Davenport was born 5 Oct 1762.

121 v. Joseph Davenport was born 28 Mar 1765. Joseph died 28 Oct 1766 at 1 years of age.
