888. John Alfred⁸ Davenport (James Radcliffe⁷, John Alfred⁶, John Hon.⁵, Abraham Hon.⁴, John Rev.³, John Jr.², John Rev.¹) was born in Francestown, New Hampshire, Usa 7 Feb 1840. John died 5 May 1890 in New York, Usa, at 50 years of age.

He married Mary Fairfax Morris in England, 15 Aug 1874. Mary was born Abt 1850. Mary died 6 Mar 1924.

John Alfred Davenport and Mary Fairfax Morris had the following children:

1635 i. Beatrix Cary⁹ Davenport was born in Morrisania, New York, Usa 21 Aug 1875. Beatrix died 16 Dec 1952 in London, England, at 77 years of age.

1636 ii. Hettie Gouverneur Davenport was born 8 Nov 1877. She married Frederick Menzies 1909. Frederick was born Abt 1873.
