He married Katherine Merrick Ramsey in Norfolk, Virginia, 10 Nov 1917. Katherine was born in Washington, D.c. 25 Dec 1896.

George Davenport Browne and Katherine Merrick Ramsey had the following children:

2358 ii. Ramsey Browne was born in Long Beach, California 8 Feb 1922.
