Some snazzy R1 stuff
The R1 is such a great bike as is, I haven't felt the need to modify much, other than some cosmetic bits to personalize it a bit. I've added Lockhart Flush mount signals front and rear, a Zero Gravity windscreen, and some additional blue anodised bits here and there to complement the factory pieces. My most recent addition is a set of braided stainless brake lines which I made from Earl's Plumbing, purchased at a local speed shop. Stopping power is greatly improved, and I think the blue and red anodised banjos complement the bike nicely. I also covered the lines in clear heat shrink tubing to keep the braid clean and shiny. I have no plans to part with this bike anytime soon, so I'm not throwing a bunch of stuff at it all at once...........just a little at a time. But I do have more in store...........always! How's the saying go? "Too much is never enough".
