Hi
This page is dedicated to Bonnie and her Western Day vest. I started the vest on Monday and finished the last bit on Tuesday morning so she could wear it to school. The edges were machine embellished to save time and I hand sewed on beads of various colors to accent the stitches. I hope you enjoy the photos.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or comments about this page or any other page in my website. Thank you very much!

The horse is a transfer that I ironed
on using the HP Transfer paper (no affiliation) The cowboy hat is free-handed
"black" work with a gold rocaille bead hatband.
The dog is freehand "black"work and all of
the various stitching done (other than specified) I am especially proud of
him!
The rose is from a piece of lace
that I cut apart and then stitched down using opulascent beads and around
it for decoration.
The flower is a crocheted piece
that I received in a swap this last year and I used green rocaille beads
for the stem and leaves. The gold and black/red trim is something I also
received.
The star I free-hand and I used
DMC shiny yellow pearl cotton and a yellow button for the
center.
The cactus is made entirely up of
green rocaille beads with gold rocaille beads for the
prickles.
The ladybug is crocheted and something
I received in a swap as well. I used red rocaille beads for the "baby
bugs" and a black round bead for their heads.
